Give it a month or two. The curses are harder to adjust to, since they don't happen so often, but the rest of the weirdness becomes normal pretty fast.

Remember that if weird shit happens at the start of a week, it's probably a curse. There's really no predicting what the effects will be, but you aren't going to get the same effect for two curses in a row.
