[The first thing the SFC shows is Dirk standing in the Plaza, holding up some kind of... skateboard? Only, it can't be, it's too large, the shape's all wrong, and it doesn't even have wheels. If anything, it looks more like a surfboard, though those things toward the back look kind of weird.]
It's about time I saved up enough to get this thing. Maybe when it's actually warm again I'll use it up on the Island. I don't expect the rest of you to have rocket boards, but I'd be willing to bet I'm not the only one around here who knows how to skateboard. So come and show me what you've got.

This is one of the few moments that Kid is coincidentally willing to set aside his daily ritual of tidying up the villa in favor of something else.
After all, he's confident that this won't take longer than a few minutes.
And hoping it'll be quite a bit longer.]
2/3; ACTION
Sallow fingers flexing at the air, he calls Beelzebub out from that ever so convenient hammerspace of his, steps aboard--
What begins as a swift roll across the Plaza turns into a jump to put a hand against one of the coral's sprawling branches of growth, launching himself and the flying skateboard into the air. He swoops--
--and aims to buzz Dirk Strider before taking again to the sky.]
3/3; ACTION 5EVER
In fact, it makes the beckoning gesture he makes with one hand redundant, but there it is.]

When Dirk made his post, he hadn't known or suspected that Kid had anything like that. Why would he? The rocketboard was rare and complicated enough, he'd mostly expected a lot of questions about it and not a lot of action. To find that someone else has a flying board, and that of all people, it would be Kid to have one, well. That just makes it even better. He's not going to give up this chance, not at all.
The first thing Dirk does is flip Kid off. Then he drops the board forward and leaps on, building speed, rising into the air and getting a feel for the board after a few months without it. If Kid looks carefully, he might catch the grin on Dirk's face. He's going to enjoy this.]
Bring it!

This is, after all, the same Beelzebub that carried him for an errand from Egypt to Nevada and back again in no more than a few hours. And in his most recent recollection of home, the same board that presently carried him all the way to the moon.
...Uh-huh. The moon. But no big deal, Dirk had a dream self strutting around on one for how long?
One soaring one-hander loop-the-loop has Kid calling down to the approaching Dirk:]
My skill with a first class aerial type like Beelzebub is unmatched, Strider! If anything, it's you who needs to 'bring it'!

[Compared to Kid's neat little skateboard, the rocketboard seems large and kind of clunky, for all that Dirk doesn't maneuver it that way. In some part of his brain, he's considering redesigning his own board, to make it even more streamlined- not that he'd break out one of his Bro's shitty floating boards, but surely there are improvements he can make.
That's for later, though. Right now is time for competition, and he's not going to let himself be distracted from bringing any less than his best. There's no place for multitasking here.
As if to prove it, he jumps off the board, kicking it into a spin beneath his feet, as though doing a more typical skateboard trick. Only in the air, with a rocketboard. As soon as his feet are planted firmly on the board again, he speeds forward, attempting to get up to Kid's height.]

Does yours have rockets on it? [Okay, it might be an obvious question but that's kind of awesome.]
Sure does. Best kind of board, if you ask me.
