... Also, uh. For those'a you who don't know me, I'm Daimon Masaru, the number one banchou in Japan! I was here a while ago, but apparently I got sent back! Now I'm here again!

What the hell is a Pokemon? You mean a digimon?

...What's a digimon anyway?

A digital monster! It evolves from one form to another, getting stronger!

Huh, that's so weird, I never heard of a digital monster! How can it live in a computer if it's so big?

...Hm...it's starting to sound a little bit like pokemon though...

Well, the digital world is like... formed from the data inside computers. It's a lot like virtual reality except you can go there yourself...

... really? What are Pokemon like?

[Bianca was still raising an eyebrow at him!]

But that still makes no sense, you just can't go hop on a computer and be there yourself! You can't just turn yourself into data like that!

Well...they're like of like animals except they're bigger than we can understand them! They have powers we don't have and it's up to us to make sure that we do our best to help each other out! Like that!

... Yeah, that sounds just like a Digimon. Well, some of them aren't so friendly. Some saw humans as enemies. Some were downright evil. It depends, really.

[Masaru what?]

Well, I know that a girl doesn't lie either and neither should anyone else! Still, it just sounds so weird to be able to go on the computer and live around it!

Then can I ask what kind of world do you live? If I live with pokemon, then it must mean that it's pretty similar to yours! We go out and train our pokemon but...

There can be some people that aren't really nice and use them for evil things...

Well, the world I come from is pretty much like any other, I guess. I live in Yokohama, Japan. The digital world is pretty big, but I've only seen deserts and forests and oceans in it and stuff.

... and yeah, I've met some humans like that too.

Yoko...hama...Japan? That doesn't sound like anywhere I know but it sounds like this world of yours is just as big as mine! We got deserts, forests, oceans, and so on! If you have it, we probably do! ....Outside of digimon that is!

But how did you get a digimon anyway? Do you catch them in a p-...digiball?

Oh...um...can I ask...what did they do?

... well, you need to meet a digimon, for one. And then you need to be able to get a digi-soul, and have a digivice.

[Masaru's voice grows low, and cold. Like he's trying to hold himself back from getting angry]

... His name was Kurata. He killed a bunch of digimon. Permanently. Normally, they're reborn after they die, but he made it so they wouldn't come back. And then he merged with a really powerful digimon and tried to take over the world.

He was a complete monster.

Digi...soul? Digivice? What's that? Hm...but it seems like a lot of things in your world start with digi...

[With that growl, Bianca was slowly backing away from the communicator. She doesn't want him to get angry...!

However, when she heard the rest of his story...]

But why would he do that? It's pretty cool that digimon can be reborn again but...doesn't he care about the lives he has taken? That's just cruel and really mean and...not nice!

Well, my digivice is something my dad made for humans to connect with digimon. Digi-soul is the power of our emotions and spirit, which make us and digimon stronger!

... and as for why he did that, because he was a sicko. He only cared about himself. He was afraid of how strong digimon were and jealous of my dad, so he just decided to take everything for himself.

But... he's not a problem anymore.

Huh, it sounds something like a pokedex and the bond we have between our pokemon! Pokedexs are ways to find out how many pokemon are out there and to better understand them too! Hm, I'm starting to see how similiar our worlds can be...

[Digimon and Pokemon, together?! GASP!
