[The dream starts with Angelo walking down a dank hallway that looks almost like a basement cellar, but with jail cells. He walks up to a jail cell where there's four people inside -- a young man, a young lady, a middle aged man, and a small green troll/toad-like creature. The middle aged man tries to grab Angelo after he greets them from between the bars, but the templar tells him to control his temper as he unlocks the cell doors and apologizes to them. Then he leads the four away from the cells and around a small corner towards another room, there a sleeping guard lays as Angelo explained he seasoned the man's supper with a pinch of sleeping powder. Afterwards they reach a torture chamber full of various torturous devices from the medieval period with Angelo soon speaking at his normal tone of voice saying they can talk again. The small green troll/toad-like creature speaks up soon after with an accent much like Angelo's, except his has an aged and more regal tone as he asks Angelo to explain what's going on. Angelo in return apologizes for lying about a ring to someone named Marcello along with saying how he'd have no one else to go and for the group not to be mad at him. However the group, especially the small creature are not amused and remain irritated. In return, Angelo says he'll show them something they might not have seen before. Angelo picks up the creature and he asks him what it is... But what they see and hear is a loud clanging sound as the iron maiden opens to reveal blood stained spikes. Angelo holds the creature up right in front of iron maiden as he begins to tremble while the man is smirking.]

There! And that's real blood on those spikes, you know. If I were to throw you in there and shut the door, your whole body would be skewered. I could make you hole-ier than thou without so much as getting my hands dirty. Not bad, eh?

[After he's done talking, Angelo tosses the creature into the iron maiden and shuts the door behind him. The creature makes crying sounds and ones of "ARGH!!" as the rest of the group stand there in shock. Angelo on the other hand is simply amused with a smug smirk while having a left hand curled up under his chain to use it as a bit of a rest and using the other to support his left arm. In a matter of moments however, the creature starts talking again, going "Eh?" and "Oooh!" while making what sounds like banging noises. He also asks the group if they can hear him as he exclaims there's a secret passage in the iron maiden. Angelo meanwhile is only winking and still being smug at first, but then stands next to the maiden with a bowed head extending his arm out gracefully before stating, "Like I said, not bad, eh?"

But then the dream ends, to which Angelo awakens looking both a bit confused and tired at the same time in his bed. He doesn't really understand what just happened or why, but he sighs and says nothing of it.]

[For a good moment, Shirley wasn't sure what to say. At first, she thought that Angelo might have done something horrible and unspeakable to those poor creatures. However, she let out a sigh of relief knowing it was all an act]

I must say...that is quite the dream you have there.

[While Angelo is a troll in of himself, he does have an explanation for this.]

It was all in good fun I assure you. Besides, I had to test their trust in me.

Oh? Can I ask why?

[Hm, she's a little curious about this world of his...]

[beauchevalier]

Because people at home tend to have...trust issues with me.

[shirleyhopeful]

[She can feel you with the trust issues there]

I see, it seems like you must have had quite the life back home. I don't know how bad it is but I know that I trust you.

After all, you're trying to help people and creatures alike. I trust you for that!

[beauchevalier]

[If only Shirley knew what type of person he truly was back home, she might not be willing to say such things.]

I don't know what's going on in your world but...that's all in the past right? It's more important to think about the present and the future!

[Serph stands aside and watches, only speaking after Angelo speaks that last line.]

These are your friends?

[beauchevalier]

[Looking up from where he's standing, the moment Angelo sees Serph he's taken a bit by surprise yet a sense of familiarity washes over him as well.]

...Who are you? I feel as though we've met before.

[bufudine]

[Hm. Serph nods; yeah, they sure have met.]

My name is Serph. I consider you a friend.

[beauchevalier]

[Hearing Serph's own words, they triggers something in his mind that makes him remember his time in Vatheon and make him realize where they are together.]

I remember now, but how did you get here? This is a memory in my mind.

[bufudine]

[Serph's gaze goes to the various, ahem, devices, in the room.]

This is similar to a curse some time ago. Eventually I will be ejected from your memory.

[His gaze returns to Angelo.]

Where is this?

[beauchevalier]

[A nod.]

..I see.

[He looks back at Serph.]

Maella Abbey, my home.

After he's awake

[She's...really happy you didn't just actually kill that person.]

Where does it lead to?

[beauchevalier]

[Daughter, your father is not a murderer he swears.]

A tunnel under my home, Ib. It's a secret passage only us Templars know about and are allowed to used in order to escape should our home be attacked.

[theredrose]

[That's good, she's glad. :c]

Oh. Were you running from something?

[beauchevalier]

Not entirely, they needed help escaping and I offered my services.

[theredrose]

I see.

[That's better than being chased, at least.]

...were they your friends?

[beauchevalier]

...In a way, I suppose they were. Though, this was before our journey's end which resulted in happier lives for all of them.

[ SO mature. She did see the dream, though. Why else would she be responding? Might as well start out with that before asking about the bloody spikes and secret passages. ]

So ... you certainly have a way of treating people. The bloody spikes are a nice touch.

[ She's not a fan of them, but ... that doesn't stop her from being curious. ]
