*Selphie's lying back on her bed, various plush toys scattered around her pillows. She's holding her SFC above her at arm's length, and she looks nothing short of the epitome of curiously confused*

Let's say... Let's say a guy tells a girl that he loves her. And that makes the girl really happy. And the girl tells him that she loves him too...

...what happens next?

I mean, in the books and the movies that's where it ends - with two people declaring their love and... well... they kiss...

*Selphie colours quite pink here, because kissing was just... well, an awkward subject*

But then what...?

*Her shoulder shrugs against the sheets of her bed as she lowers her gaze from the SFC*

...just wondered! No reason!~

*Selphie smiles gently towards him and gives a little tilt of the head*

You don't have any romance in your life just now, then?

[For just a moment, there was the tinest of blushes as he shook his head 'no'.] N- no. Not as of this time. It's really something I've never been involved in, actually.

*Selphie wondered if there was someone he had in mind, but she didn't know this guy, and he seemed quite a gentle soul, so she'd keep any teasing for if they got to know each other better*

...me neither. Til now, no one's ever been interested in me in a romance kind of way...

[In time he'd probably be happy to share such information with her. ...though only after making sure she promised never to tell anyone because he's actually never told anyone who he's been interested in for quite some time.]

R- really? You seem like such a wonderful girl. [It was a bit of a shock to him, but after a few moment's of pause, he smiled lightly once more.] It just means that you hadn't met the right person until now is all. The best kind of romance takes time. I've known some people who were in relationships without any romance in it at all.

*Selphie might be loud, but she's super good at keeping secrets and she wouldn't tell a soul! At his compliment she smiled brightly - it was such a nice thing to say!*

Maybe that is all it means but - a relationship with no romance? Does that even work...?

Marriage, even. Then again... well, back home sometimes two people are brought together for political reasons as it benefits both their countries so they don't really get much say in the matter. Sometimes they'll learn to care for one another but sometimes they just never find that romantic spark.

Some people seem to just wish to be in relationships simply to be in them. I wouldn't recommend either.

You mean... like a prince or a princess or something?

A relationship just because?

*Yeah, all those questions because it doesn't make sense to Selphie either - she just shakes her head*

Yeah. Something along those lines. [Shaking his head slightly, he offered a smile then waved his hand.]

It's nothing to worry about though. I don't think it's very common at all.

Huh... that all sounds pretty weird..

*Still, she brightens a little and nods at the SFC*

I'm Selphie, by the way!

I think it's something that makes more sense in worlds where it's more common. [Enough about that, anyway. Smiling warmly, he even offered a polite wave.]

*Selphie nods at that - all these crazy worlds with all these crazy things!*

Hi Matthew! Matthew's a nice name. There's another Matthew in Vatheon too!

It always makes me happy to see other Matthews around. Though, rather embarrassingly, I've actually yet to meet him. [It seemed like something he should have done a long time ago, but for some reason he just never had.]

Tee hee! It must be funny - I've never met anyone else called Selphie before! *And she giggles a little, because she doesn't think that would actually be quite amusing*

Well, that's okay! Vatheon seems to get more and more people all the time.. So no wonder! I'm sure you'll bump into him sometime!

It is a pretty unique name. I'd be rather surprised to know more than one Selphie. [Though he did like the way her name sounded. IT was rather pretty.]

People are always coming and going. It's nice to see that some tend to stick around for a while, though. It makes it easier to make and build meaningful friendships.

How long have you been round here for?

I've been here... for a little while, actually. I first arrived over a year ago, then disappeared for a few weeks, came back, disappeared again for a little bit, then came back a third time. For some reason I just can't seem to stay away.

Me too... I've been asleep sometimes for a while... but never left. Apart from - well..

*Yeah, she was killed and died... but whatever*

..well, I'm still here!

[That doesn't sound like it would have been a pleasant experience. Hopefully it never happens again.]

It's really not all too bad here. It's had it's ups and downs, but I think it's the people that met that I would miss the most.

*Urgh, it wasn't! But she was trying to avenge her friends so it's all good!*

Yeah, I think you're right. I miss people from home but... I'd really miss people from here too.
