[dream] [it's all on the vidya]
[Whether or not anyone witness to this broadcast has met Maka Albarn before, any idiot could surmise that the scene unfolding is simply wrong.
It appears to be taking place on the island, two figures semi-obscured by the fog until one realizes it's a girl and a boy facing each other down. Though something seems off about the boy as he's dressed in garb similar to what one would find in an asylum and tugging, tugging, tugging at the ID bracelet on his wrist until it cuts into his skin. The girl, Maka, seems to be trying to reason with him, getting him to "snap out of it."
This doesn't seem to be going well as the boy grabs at her wrist and begins to pull her back into the darkest recesses of the fog with him. Maka's fighting back, naturally, saying it's wrong. The boy--who any acquaintance of hers by now would realize is Death the Kid--replies that he's right and she should listen to what he says so things can be "fixed."
There's a struggle, Maka seems clearly more frightened than normal and Kid--despite his appearance--seems to be overpowering her. She's grabbed about the neck and held slightly off the ground, where she struggles and cries--trying to kick at him or plead on behalf of her life. A closer look at Kid's face in this would show that he looks completely disengaged from the situation at hand, almost like he's not even himself, like they're having a simple disagreement and he's frustrated by the lack of cooperation. Maka, on the other hand, is showing the signs of suffocation--short, labored breaths and tears welling up in her eyes at the pain.
Then, all at once, he squeezes his hands together and Maka's body jerks, eyes widen, she abruptly falls limp and silent.
It appears to take Kid a moment to realize that the friend he was trying to bring with him back into the fog is dead, though his expression doesn't change. No sympathy, no sign of upset, he drops her body and walks away--possibly to seek someone else to bring back into the fog with him.
The image stays trained for a moment on Maka; her blank eyes tear-stained and blood trickling from her mouth. Then the feed ends.]
[Present day Maka wakes up from her rest at what looks to be a desk. She looks pale, but more irritated than anything, this doesn't change when she notices her SFC turned on. Though she doesn't bother to offer an apology for the dreaded accidental broadcast, she instead scowls and mutters to herself about defective tech and turns it off.]
