[dream]
(( OOC: Major DDS2 spoilers. For a tl;dr version of the dream, just watch this; and let me know of course if you're interacting with her in the dream or afterwards. :> ))
[When Argilla awakens, there is an incredible stiffness in her body like she's never felt before. She isn't transformed, like she had been just moments ago; she can tell. Her eyes don't even want to open at this point, but she forces them anyway as she slowly tries to glance around her room. Her very own room, at the Embryon base . . . how did she get here?
She spots her SFC on the ground. It had apparently fallen off, the collision pressing one of its new buttons; and without realizing it had been recording in the first place, she clicks it off and sighs.
What in the world . . . ?]
It's been over a month since Argilla has been awake and even longer since she's been in Karma City; but nevertheless, it's where she finds herself in this very moment. It wouldn't be accurate to say she's running for her life, since she essentially made the decision to give it up as soon as she walked out of that door; but nevertheless, she is running. Fast. There is a fresh trail of blood along the floor, but she doesn't need it to know where she's going.
She thinks -- knows this will be worth it.
A rush of energy overwhelms her as she turns a corner, knowing that she's getting closer and closer to that monster-- and she nearly doesn't stop. But she has to, upon seeing the violent scene waiting for her.
Even knowing what to expect wasn't quite enough to prepare her for this, and she is stunned. For a moment she can only stare as the Meganada sinks its teeth into Roland -- someone she'd finally learned to accept as a comrade, someone who is immobile and helpless. It makes her scream in anguish. It makes her rush forward with all of her might. There is no more fear in her eyes, no more worrying about the monster she was afraid of becoming.
In some ways, she already is one, and she intends to do what monsters do best.
Fight.

But when she hears that gasp, she stops. For a moment, she thinks maybe she's hearing things; she isn't as alert as she usually is, but then her head turns to see her.
That somebody.]
. . . Sera.
[She stares blankly in confusion for a moment -- but eventually her lips curl into a smile.]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. I just...

I was already awake. It's -- It's good to see you.

A mixture of emotions -- pain, sadness, confusion, weakness -- overcomes her, and she steps quickly to Argilla's side and throws her arms around her.
She's never been more grateful for Vatheon's existence.]

When he finds her.]
Argilla.
[You're awake. He holds up his SFC.]
Is this what happened to you?
[And Roland, after he 'died'?]
. . . lmfao Ten, they both work in this case.
Forgive her, leader, she isn't as alert as she should be at the moment. She is staring at him blankly, having just stepped out of her own room, and it takes her a moment to make the connection between Serph's SFC and her dream.
Her dream . . . it was so vivid. Had she relived it?
She grabs at his SFC, blinking once.]
How did you -- ?

One of the past curses recorded and broadcasted foreigners' dreams.
[That's how he was able to see Argilla's.]

She stares at his SFC after taking it, and though the dream isn't broadcasting at the moment, she can almost see how it would look. She takes a deep breath and allows her hand with the SFC to fall back to her side.]
I see.
[She should probably answer his question as well. So that's followed by a nod.]
. . . Yes. It's exactly what happened, though I wasn't expecting to show it off this way.

One of the few things he he didn't see, however, was what exactly happened in the power plant moments before it exploded. When he sees this broadcast, he heads straight for Argilla's room and knocks on the door.]

She moves to open it. It feels like it's been a long time since she's seen those blue locks of his.]
Cielo.
[. . . She still isn't sure what to make of all this, so she just stares, smiling slightly -- thankful for a familiar face.]

[If he were to be honest, that was not a very easy thing for him to watch. He doesn't know where this conversation is going, but he does know that he wants to make sure she's fine.]
no subject
[Rather than simply say she's fine, she would rather give him a more honest answer. Thinking about the dream, her lips fall into a frown again, and her gaze falls slightly too; but she focuses instead on her physical status.
Because it's just that much easier to talk about.]

For now.
She turns around when she hears his footsteps.]
Gale, you're here.
[Ber voice is a bit reserved, a bit soft. But there is relieve behind her words.]

[He himself has been plenty tired because of it, but he hasn't hit one of the buttons yet, and he's not planning on it, after seeing what happened to both Serph and Argilla.]

At that, she can't help but frown just a little bit. Her gaze falls on one of the flowers -- which are beautiful, and surprisingly easy to look at by comparison.]
The others have said.
I . . . suppose you saw it as well, then.

And so, he ends up in front of her door, as he knocks.]
Ah, Argilla? Are you all right?
action;
Having slept for far longer than is healthy, she is up and about, walking around her room. She hasn't decided how she'll face the others yet, but she knows they must have worried.
Here, someone has saved her the trouble.]
Tiir.
[As quickly as she can manage, she walks over to the door and opens it.]
. . . Yes, I'm all right. At least, I think so.
action;
Do you want to talk about it?
action;
I -- don't know. Should I?

He hesitates before contacting, but Argilla is a friend, regardless of how little they've been talking lately.]
Are you alright... ?
video;
It doesn't really matter to her how long it's been. Friends -- comrades -- can always pick up where they left off.]
Yes, I am now. I appreciate you checking up on me, Hubert.
video;
I feel as though I got off easy from this curse... it's hardly fair to see so many people suffering in memories only to have mine be utterly ridiculous.
It's the least I can do, I suppose...
video;
Well then. Argilla does tilt her head slightly at that, looking curious. There's no way he can leave it at that.]
I had no idea you were affected as well. What did you dream about?
