[Roland has had to take in a lot of rather crazy scenarios in his lifetime (or at least the latter part of it) which may be why this is easier to take in than it should have been. Then again, what else can he do aside from going with it?
He's only been watching the network for a short while - long enough to be unsure of its contents, and long enough to know that he should probably make an introduction for himself before he wandered around too much longer.

Should I make a formal introduction, or will a simple greeting suffice?
You all seem to be busy with your own problems, so I hate to interrupt.
