I'vve got an important question an I don't wwant any kind a hoofbeastshit from anyone wwho can see this.
Also there's a feww I'm not inclined TO see this, so don't be spreadin it around prematurely.
Anywway, here it is.

All right.

[Anything to get out, if even for a while. He was going to try to see if he could get his legs to work with him while he waited.]

[He arrives a while later, knocking on the door to his room before entering and giving a smile]

Jade.

[Jade has been trying to move around while he was waiting. He was hoping to get on his feet in the next few days, but with his legs being as they were and refusing to go to the Coral for instant help, he was more along the lines of sitting with his legs hanging off the bed with Dualscar arrived.

He offered a nod to him.]

Orphaner.

[Dualscar doesn't offer to help him. For a troll to show too much weakness is basically a death sentence, so unless Jade outright shows he needs it, it's unlikely for him to offer assistance, or worry that Jade might have difficulty.]

Wwell, you don't look so fuckin' bad. You ready to go?

As ready as I can be.

[For Jade, It wasn't taboo, but he had pride- a bit too much of it at times, and the thought of being carried around like a helpless princess didn't appeal to him. Honestly, he wasn't sure if that was the best idea right now, but the need to be out of the place was more than enough drive to try.]

It's a matter of if my legs are.

[He smirked at that and pushed himself onto his wrapped up feet, leaning heavily on the nightstand for a good moment. The quick healing from Zelda and the nurses was good enough to make him able to walk, but not enough without something to grab onto. He could probably just push from place to place if he positioned himself well.

He shifted and leaned on the edge of the bed before he looked to Dualscar.]

I trust it's more or less the same outside.

[Wait, it's only now that Jade has called attention to his legs that Dualscar notices his wrapped up feet. He takes a step closer, noticing how he leans on the bed, supporting himself awkwardly]

Wwhat happened to your feet?

[Jade tried to think of an apt explanation, but the honest truth was that he didn't know. He shook his head and smiled a bit.]

I wish I had an answer. Apparently I attacked some people and two didn't take it so well.

[He stamps his own metal foot against the floor, scowling] Wwell, goin' after a person's legs wwhen they attack you is just not sportin' at all. Wwant me to carry you, or givve you some support? Otherwwise wwe'll be all day just gettin' dowwn the hall.

[Jade kept his hands on the support he had when the other stamped his foot down. He rose a brow and sighed. Support would be needed, much as he didn't want to admit. He looked all shades of reluctant, but he sighed.]

I suppose, given the circumstances, I could lean on you.

A course you could. [He approaches and offers his arm. He understands not wanting to look weak, but the fact is he looks like a cripple anyway, so what's the point in being slow?]

[Certainly, Jade didn't like leaning on people, but he liked being picked up less. If he got too tired, though... Well, Dualscar had proven himself strong enough to carry the man easily. Only if it was absolutely required, though.

His leaning was more just getting an arm around the offered one and pulling himself up to a more respectable height. With someone to act as a cane, he could switch legs frequently and walk far more easily.

With that accomplished, Jade nodded his thanks their movement was slowed, but Jade could certainly walk better with a limp rather than hobbling all the way. This certainly wasn't his favorite part of being a bit crippled. No, being in the clinic only had the perk of free pudding.]

[Dualscar could probably bench press Jade without difficulty, but he forces himself to simply walk slowly and allow Jade to lean on him as much or as little as he wishes. He knows how he'd feel in similar circumstances]

All right?

[Jade nodded to Orphaner, keeping a firm grip on him and moving forward as quickly as he could.]

You have my thanks for indulging a quick desire.

[He was sure Dualscar would have felt the same, so he didn't feel like it was a huge burden. And the troll seemed kind enough that Jade didn't altogether mind holding onto him or the other being around.]

I certainly don't mind indulgin' you. [He sounds just a tiny bit smug]

[Jade smirked a bit at Dualscar.]

How kind. I'll have to find a way to repay the favor later.
