03 - some questions [video]
[Shiro is nice enough to wait until after all the dreamtroubles to pose this question to the network.]
Just curious, but how many of you here have jobs? A lot of stuff is free, so nobody really has to do anything, but it seems like it'd get boring if there wasn't work to do every day.
[he may or may not be debating doing some real work, after two weeks of being lazy.]

But somehow, he can see why the boy seems to hero worship this man so. ]
That right? Back where I come from, demons let you see them only if they want to. The humans have it tough. The one I knew was here but a few months ago.

Fortunately it's pretty rare outside of controlled circumstances, usually new students at the academy have to have one purposefully inflicted on them to continue their studies. But it does happen sometimes.

So... if you get hurt by a demon, that's when you lot get to see them? Blimey, you exorcists have it hard.
[ brb feeling for Yuki just even more than he already does. ]

We also have ways to make that power go away, but most people refuse it. I can't say I blame 'em either. As scary as demons are, it's even scarier to know they're there but not be able to see them.
video;
Can't blame them. I'd be bricking it if I knew there was something out there that was bally dangerous and I couldn't see them anymore...

video;
You lot are rather hardy for humans, eh?

I've prolly nattered your bleeding ear off by now though with all my questions. Am I keeping you from anything?
video;

[ A small chuckle. ]
Would do us a bleeding favor if those animals wouldn't be going after the souls that need collecting. Course, the job'll prolly be a touch more dull without them.
video;
[People do come back, but he's not sure how it all works.]
video;
M'not sure. Laws of death sure as hell prolly don't apply here. Any fellow who's died comes back after a few days. Not like being a reaper helps any. Seems we can't see souls anymore the same way we used to.
video;
[It's said in a more musing tone, like he's mulling it over himself. It's curious that there are so many reapers here, yet nobody really knows what happens to someone when someone dies.]
video;
[ And he can't help but shiver from that. The idea of a place being able to suppress even reapers from seeing souls... ]
S'just a bit unnerving is all, sir...
