[A splinter and a crack, a bit of a splash. Yes, this particular feed isn't the cleanest to come about, and the recipient that appears none too long after doesn't look as hot, either. He's definately just woken up from... something, that's for sure, and isn't the slighest bit pleased about it.]

[Another rustling noise, and the General realizes what he's holding... or he would have, under normal circumstances. Whatever it was, it was the most ridiculous-looking device he'd ever see--

The only time he's dressed 'casual' was when he'd go out on the streets with Vanitas, so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise all things considered--he does need those long scarves to cover the scars on his throat, after all.

[So says the man greeting the Lombax who's almost never out of uniform. Seriously, that old Praetorian armour looks like it hadn't been removed in decades.

A long white tail swishes as the Major approaches, and he turns, arms folded over his chest with a studying look. So many strange residents here... he had to wonder if they all shared similar, if not worse, fates in their home universes.]

I must admit; I'm astonished that a child would be capable of creating something the entire Lombax race had struggled with for decades. So I suppose it doesn't matter what species you are, now, does it?

It's not a machine, General. It's... Putting it simply, it's just an ability some people have in the world he came from.

Different worlds have different methods of transportation. _{[A beat.]} I don't know the full details of it myself so it'd be a waste of breath to ask me how it worked, I'm afraid.

An alchemist to be exact, and no. I don't. If that was the case, I wouldn't have been marked by them.
