...Would someone please tell me why there is a full-grown lion on my bed?
[THIS IS THE WORST JOKE IN THE UNIVERSE, VATHEON. He just about had a heart attack when he woke up to see it just
lion around.
...Oh dear lord it's moving why is it coming towards him--Yeah, that just got Kimblee to scream and judging by the sudden slamming noises, he's attempting to put as much distance as he can between himself and the oversized 'house cat'.
Anyone inside of his apartment will quickly find the alchemist pinning the door to his bedroom shut and paler than a ghost. This is an awful day why him]

Re: action;
[A beat.]
A week or not, I don't like it. ...I don't expect you to understand, Vanitas. It's--[He sighs and glances over at the door, then down to where he can see part of the lion's toe tufts poking out.]
...Can you hold it?
Re: action;
[Just going to be quiet for a moment.]
I can try. [He's going to back away from the door before patting his chest.]
C'mere. [He isn't sure how to call a lion.] Up up.
Re: action;
[Kimblee lifts a hand to rub at his forehead and sighs. This was exhausting in more ways than one.
The lion on the other hand perks up when Vanitas calls, and at the 'up' gesture he moves to pretty much jump into his arms. Master's friend said up! It's cuddle time now, right? Or is it play? Or both?! THIS IS SO EXCITING!]
Re: action;
[And down Vanitas will go again. His ass is going to be bruised. Putting his arms around the lion as he rub his face against his neck. It's cuddle time.]
I have him.
Re: action;
Positive?
no subject
Lion pls.]
Positive. He's giving me a bath.
[Hopefully Kimblee doesn't freak out when he sees that mouth on Vanitas.]
no subject
...All right.
[He's going to very
very
very reluctantly stand up and open the door a bit to stick his head into the room--
Oh dear god what.
what.]
...Stay.
[Vanitas have you ever had your hair styled by a lion? No? You will now! Master told him to stay so clearly it's okay to keep grooming!]
no subject
Seems you have something in common. [You both like molesting his hair.]
no subject
[He's going to stay near the door for a quick escape if he has to, but for the time being he's not going too far.
...Kimblee, let go of the door knob. Your knuckles are turning white. Let go.]
...I don't trust it.
no subject
He is occupied.
[Tilting his head so the lion can get another part.]
He also seems obedient. Try telling him to do something else.
no subject
Screw it, he's doing it.]
...Sit on Vanitas.
[...YEAH VANITAS YOU MIGHT WANT TO MOVE OR SOMETHING
THAT CRITTER IS MOVING
AND HE'S GOING TO SIT.]
no subject
Vanitas is scooting out of the way fast.
Whoops, Kimblee. He isn't hanging on to big scary kitty any more :D]
Maybe I should sleep with him every night.
no subject
why did you let go
Vantias
Vanitas.]
Maybe I should pack up and stay at the hotels for the week if you don't want my company.
[Vanitas you brat.]
You're lucky I don't try getting him to jump on you, Vanitas.
[But he's at least telling the lion to sit and stay! He doesn't want to test his luck with touching him yet.]
no subject
[And then he'll roll his eyes.]
When I offer to leave, you sulk.
[Geez. Kimblee, make up your mind.
Getting up as he moved over to Kimblee.]
Think I have enough bruises thanks to him.
no subject
[He still hasn't really stopped shaking from waking up to the lion earlier, and he keeps messing with the bandana around his neck.]
Then he's at least good for something. [Hey! Rood, master! That gets a big old huff.]
no subject
[Standing next to him to look at the lion. Just going to reach over and place a hand on Kimblee's back. It's okay.]
Two people? [Who else would there be?]
He's good for attention. [And he'll rub his lion cleaned hair on Kimblee's shoulder.]
no subject
Two. There's a few more but only one other person who witnessed it is here.
[Pride. Selim.]
...It'd be better if he were a cub. There's less of a risk of... Well, you know.
no subject
Are those attached?
[Looking at the second layer over the pants. Were they chaps? Pausing to reach down to give them a tug on the back of his leg.]
How could anyone witness it? [...did he miss something?]
I'll keep him occupied. It's just a week. [Bumping his forehead against Kimblee's arm.] He had a blast with your pillow.
no subject
[He stumbles a bit and reaches out to brace himself against the door, his eyes still fixed on the lion.]
...I didn't die alone, remember?
[Then he makes a face when he looks over at the pillow--wait lion where are you going leave that other pillow alone--] And you didn't stop hi--Drop it.
[Gosh master, so mean. He just wants to chew on the other one!]
no subject
There were more bits of pretty metal. He didn't get how this would protect someone, but it was leather and he was a beast master.
He really likes that bandana.]
...and they are here?
[Vanitas will pause in studying the new fashion to look over his shoulder at the lion.]
It was too late by the time I got in. [So if someone had just moved out of the way sooner, he could have saved the pillow.]
Think a collar and leash would work? [Or maybe a body harness. Then he can walk the lion or take him to the pond.]
no subject
[Look at horses, man!]
...But yes, they are.
no subject
Maybe a saddle then. [And planting a hand on Kimblee's stomach to touch that under shirt.]
Lots of layers.
[He's just going to file away that part about the person being there. The chimera wasn't there. The other Elric wasn't there. The only person that was left could be the one who finished off Kimblee, right?
Occupying himself with sliding his hand under the vest he was wearing.]
no subject
[Kimblee flinches and glances away from Vanitas to watch the lion again, then reluctantly holds his hand out. As long as he has Vanitas between himself and the cat, he should be okay.
...He should be.]
It's better than what Roxas has, apparently. I was talking to a few people while you were bonding.
no subject
Yet you let me be in a room with him.
[The metal thing on his chest wasn't comfortable. Just going to work on removing it from Kimblee's top.
Vanitas had random metal bits as well.]
I think these outfits are supposed to be for looks. Not even sure why anyone would think ruffles looks good. However, I wouldn't mind getting in yours.
no subject
[Not until Kimblee says it's safe! He's not even sure how someone goes about riding a lion.
it's a lion.
there are no cars to get into.]
...Why are you trying to take it apart? [He curls his other arm around Vanitas before he looks back at the lion, then beckons it forward so he could slowly place his hand over its nose. At least things are going okay so far! The lion hasn't bit him yet, and it's even listening!] Ruffles are fine--there's nothing wrong with them.
