[There is nothing quite like falling asleep on a Saturday evening and waking up on Monday morning. Generally not something to be exceedingly concerned about other than wow, you must have been very tired and should probably sleep more often. For Dhaos, it was almost this exact situation that he woke up to... Save the small fact that the Saturday he had fallen asleep on had been nearly a month ago, and he'd woken up wearing an unfamiliar outfit with no magical ability to speak of.

The coma/curse strikes again, leaving Dhaos with a rather awkward morning. It is not too much later than when he turns on his SFC, still looking slightly bewildered and sporting a rather nice ~~Red Mage~~ hat.]

...I seem to have been asleep for the past month. Is there anything that happened in that time that is particularly important? Furthermore, does anyone know the exact nature of this curse?

I... guess that depends on what you think is important.

[Unlike a lot of other people, Lloyd hasn't changed. He's still dressed in his normal red jacket, black pants, and suspenders, no hovering animals in sight of the SFC, or anything to indicate a difference. This is probably part of why he's particularly baffled.]

I'm not sure what exactly the curse is, Dhaos, but people are acting strange. Speaking of which... [Staring just a little.] What's up with the hat?

The hat is part of the clothing I woke up in.

[He holds the SFC back a bit to show that yes, that is indeed a complete outfit to match the hat.]

Given who my housemates are, I assume this is a part of the curse to go with having my powers replaced with a pair of rather...unique...weapons and skills.

[At least that's roughly what the badge had said. It'd be nice to have a more thorough grasp of the situation before leaving the house though. Or at least if things are about to descend into chaos. Always important to know.]

What kind of weapons and skills?

He takes a second look at the hat, and the rest of the clothes to go with it. Ponders to himself, nods, then smiles.]

I think your clothes look pretty cool!

[That gets a small smile from Dhaos.]

Thank you. As for the weapons, they appear to some strange combination between brass knuckles, a knife, and a projectile weapon I believe is called a gun.

[He's just... not going to mention that his skills seem to be geared towards thievery and assassination, and hope that Lloyd doesn't notice he neglected to speak of them.]

[Actually, Lloyd's going to assume those are his skills.]

Wow, that's amazing that you're good at those weapons all at once! And you didn't even have to train! Man, I wish I'd gotten a curse like that. Training's really boring sometimes.

The coral put you to sleep for a whole month? Wow..it must have really thought you needed it! How thoughtful of it to look out for you like that~

And now to give you such a fancy hat. The coral really is a wonder isn't it? This game of its is particularly amusing. You get to go on quests like something out of a virtual game!

It was incorrect in its assumption that I needed to sleep so long.

[He could've spent that time doing something useful; at the very least he could have continued his research and spent more time with his boyfriend. So yes, Dhaos is a bit displeased with the coral right now.]

...Although I must admit, I have little to compare this particular "game" to, as the little experience I have with virtual games was quite some time ago.

[Says the man who lived in a world filled with questing and all sorts of monsters.]

Well then you should definitely do your best now so you can enjoy it while you can! It's not every day that the coral gives us this kind of a chance. It's really a lot of fun. You have to be careful though, some of the quests can be a little dangerous.

[ Duke is stuck in a braid and dark armor, that really kinda looks like he's wearing fancy clothing with some armor over it. ]

Some have gone home, and you ought to have a badge that will explain what the curse did to you in particular.

[ There's a noise of the door opening and Duke sighs. ]

... You will have a visitor shortly.

[ As soon as the crystal spirit figures out how to open that door- ]

A visitor...?

[What does he mean by that? It doesn't sound like that was Duke, so who...?]

[ Its a rock-creature, all crystally purple and grey, that works out the door handle and floats in.

It bobs about, making chinking noises. It thinks your hair is very nice, can it play with it? ]

[Dhaos doesn't do much more than look at it in confusion for a moment. Was this part of the curse? Is this Duke's?]

Ah... Yes?

[Because how else are you suppose to respond to a strange new creature asking to play with your hair? ~~Besides run away screaming, but that's what normal people who don't speak rock-creature do.~~]

[ It bobs gleefully and makes more chinking noises and then manages somewhat cooing ones as it plays with the ends of Dhaos' hair.

Duke is looking like he can't tell if he ought to look embarrassed or not by its behavior. ]

It decided it did not need to ask for Ioder.

Well...there's a lot that happened during this month but it just depends on what you want to know!

[Meanwhile, Bianca...wasn't affected by this curse but she couldn't help but wonder what's going on. Everyone is dressed up so...strangely]

As for the curse, I'm not really sure but it seems like everyone is wearing a lot of odd clothes lately! [Pause] Including you!

[He seems somewhat surprised at the last comment. Certainly the outfit is a bit different than what he normally wears, but nothing about it seems inherently strange to him. ~~Which isn't surprising considering that he is from an old-school RPG.~~]

...I see. I suppose it would be best to ask if any events effecting the entirety of the city would suffice.

[Because where else does one even start with asking about current events?]

[~~WHAT THE HECK IS THAT??!?!~~ Meanwhile Bianca is use to having people wear fairly casual clothing in her world and in Vatheon as well. While it was a little strange, she was also slightly disappointed. She wanted to wear a even sillier than she had now!]

Hm...I don't think there was any event like that during the month. If it did effect all of us, then I think we would be in pretty bad shape and we wouldn't want that!

But I think it's been pretty quiet so far? I'm...not really good with keeping track of things!

[You might feel something running in to your back, Dhaos.

And arms. Skinny arms wrapping around and hugging as tight as he can.]

[The sudden impact causes Dhaos to tense for a moment before realizing what was happening. As disconcerting as it is to have his senses suddenly deadened to the point of not having heard his "assailant" until there wasn't enough time to react, he relaxes. He knows who's arms are around him.]

Hello Ioder. If I worried you, I apologize.

[Pretty easy to tell who it is, even in his current bard outfit. And he hadn't really meant to do that, but seeing Dhaos on the network made him react without thinking, rushing home just so he could see his boyfriend.

He shakes his head, face pressed against Dhaos' back.]

N-no... I just... missed you. A lot. I'm glad you're alright though.

[Dhaos savors the feeling for a moment before detaching Ioder's arms just long enough to turn around and return the hug, burying his face in Ioder's hair.]

...On some level, I believe I missed you too.

[He is perfectly alright with having the hug properly turned around. Even if standing is a bit awkward, he would stay there forever if he could.]

Heh... I hope so. I would be worried if you didn't miss me at all.

Yeah! You missed the arrival of the greatest and most amazing person to ever grace this annoying bubble.

Oh? And who might that be?

[Yeah, he has the feeling that the kid is just patting himself on the back, but maybe he's wrong. Probably not though.]
