You're that fellow I met at the coral a few days ago. As for the marking - yes. It looked odd - flashed blue for a moment at midnight. I wasn't sure if that was normal or not. Given my current condition I'm going to go with 'not'.

Yes. It would appear that everyone whom possesses one of these marks is at times subject to these curses; I'm currently attempting to research just how the coral interacts with the marking and why some aren't affected when most of the rest are by these curses.

Perhaps the coral senses who has energy to spare at that time and picks them out for the curse. Or perhaps it is just random.

Well, the curses themselves were previously part of an experiment, judging by what little physical information on them I've found. They could still be experimental for all their changed patterns. I suppose one could presume they are entirely random, but I can't help but wonder if perhaps they might be reacting to something within us, be it metaphysical or biological in nature.

The curses are terrible to adjust to, aren't they? And this one sounds particularly bad from the way the Station Master described it. We should do our best to help the princes find their princesses before we all forget who we really are.
