[Video] Has it been so long?

[ The video feed accidentally clicks on as Sora was looking at his calender on the phone. He's scrolling over it not really paying attention until the date actually catches his attention. His eyes go wide for a moment in surprise and then a soft smile settles on his face. He really should pay more attention to these sort of things, but it's easy to lose track of time in the bubble. ]

Wow, I've been here a year already.

[ Sora laughs lightly. ]

Man, I can't believe I missed my birthday too. That's so lame.

[ Despite the realization Sora doesn't seem too bummed out about it. The past few weeks had been well...interesting to say the least. ]

[ He doesn't know this boy :| Maybe he's caught his attention because of the length of time he's been here and Cloud not knowing how to wrap his mind around that. He's only been here for roughly two weeks, if that. While it doesn't seem so bad, exactly, he's not sure he wants to make his time here quite so permanent as that.

Not that he'll have a choice, but whatever.

But you can't say that to someone you don't know. HAHA I HOPE I'M NOT HERE AS LONG AS YOU might be kind of... you know, rude. ]

[ Sora stares at the face for a moment to fully take in Cloud ~~hard to tell him from the Cloud he knows, better rendering and all~~ before he recognizes who it is and his face breaks into a smile. ]

Cloud! When did you get here!

[ UNEXPECTED REACTION. Cloud can't help but look just slightly surprised and a little bit confused because no - no this kid doesn't look familiar at all. ]

... We've met?

[ Sora laughed. Normally if this was someone who had left Vatheon and returned he'd just assume they didn't remember anything, but come on this was Cloud! ]

Come on, Cloud don't mess around. You remember me right? Sora?

[ It's possible he's one of those fuzzy memories that just hasn't settled. It seems unlikely, given that most of those revolve around his childhood, but you never know. He closes his eyes to think, before looking at him more closely through the feed.

... And nada. He shakes his head. ]

Sorry. Doesn't ring a bell.

[ Now Sora just looks like a hurt puppy. ]

Oh...maybe...maybe you just forgot.

[ Oh dammit, no :( Don't give him that look, it makes him feel bad. ]

Uh - ... How am I supposed to know you, then?

[ Nope too late. ]

From the Colosseum. We met when there the first time, and then again in Hollow Bastion....Tifa was looking for you.

He scratches his head as he tries to recall that. But it's all coming up blank. That's not going to help anything. But he knows Tifa so it seems unlikely he's mixing him up with someone else.

Maybe... you're from my future?

I've heard it can happen. So maybe from your time, you and I just haven't met yet?

Mm. Maybe.

Everyone else I know here is in my past... Guess I should've expected the possibility of running into someone from my future.

[ Sora grinned before laughing a little. ]

Don't worry though! I wont tell you what happens.

[ There's a soft, almost amused smile. ]

[ Wow Sora was that actually something a little bit deep? ]

[ He gives a small nod. ]

Even if we're supposed to forget this place - better to not risk it.

[ Sora shrugged. He'd hate to think he'd really forget the friends he's made here. ]

Memories have a way of popping back up even when it seems like they're gone forever.

[ Sora nodded in agreement. ]

[ He gave a nod of agreement of his own. ]
