[ Anna darts off into the kitchen and returns with snacks. Some for Tatara, because Tatara shouldn't drink on an empty stomach, and some for Selphie because she looks tired. ]

[ooc: Some pain for a week or two is fine o/ This just means Anna will have to be careful when she cuddles him.

Tatara gives Selphie a tispy smile.]

[He doesn't even know if it hurts right now because he's actually warm and...he should get clean clothes shouldn't he...

But Anna is adorable. Sorry, Kusanagi-san, he's dropping your hand and trying to pick up Anna. Because Anna. The food that she's holding isn't even thought about right now.

...giving him sake probably wasn't the best idea. Hopefully Tatara wasn't the one holding that bottle.]

[ Izumo breaths a sigh of relief. He hadn't known Selphie was able to perform healing spells like that. Though he does notice how much it seems to have drained her.

With Tatara releasing his hand, he instead takes Selphie's, pulling her to sit next to him on the remaining space of the couch. He leans in, speaking quietly. ]

I can't thank you enough for this.

*So maybe the alcohol wasn't the best move - but its warming, fuzzy effects seemed to be working, and that was better than any kind of pain, so she figures*

*She smiles at Tatara, though with her eyes almost closing, she's clearly quite drained. So when Izumo takes her hand, Selphie stumbles to her feet, falling into place beside him. Again, she gives a tired smile before resting her forehead on his shoulder*

[Right, Anna's holding food. Food sounds like a good idea, so Tatara takes some for himself, eating a few before remembering how tired Selphie looked.

He does like these, but that doesn't really matter much. He holds out a hand with some of the snacks to Selphie.]

Anna didn't get these just for me. You should eat too.

*Selphie just glances at the food, picking one of the snacks and just looking at it. She sure didn't feel like she had the energy for eating, so she just keeps holding it and looking at it*

[ As happy as he is that Tatara's healed, Izumo's not liking how drained Selphie looks right now. And the fact that she can't even get herself to eat isn't lessening his concern. ]

[ It's a rhetorical question. Izumo's about to scoop her up and lie her down on the next couch over. ]

*Selphie glances wearily at Izumo, but she manages some kind of tired smile, lifting a shoulder in a half-shrug*

This place... It just takes so much more...

*At this rate, Selphie's too tired to protest against much of anything, despite how she might be feeling about having added herself to their problems*

[ Don't worry yourself, Selphie. You've helped so much, you don't even know. And if there's one thing true about HOMRA, people who they consider family, will be taken care of, not matter what.

So yes, he's scooping her up and gently putting her on a separate couch, finding a pillow to prop up her head. ]

[ It doesn't matter what it is, he'll get if for her, somehow. ]

*Once Selphie's on the couch, she nuzzles into the pillow and looks up at Izumo, slightly sleepy*

Sugar? I need something with sugar. Please.

Sure, gimmie a sec, I'll be right back.

[ And rather quickly he's gone and returned with one of those fruit punch flavored juice boxes mother's would pack for their kids in their school lunchboxes.

'Cept these are actually Mikoto's.

He pokes the straw into the carton for her. ]

Here, this should have plenty of sugar.

*When Izumo returns, Selphie finally manages to pull herself up into a sitting position, taking the carton with a grateful nod*

*She leans back against the couch, closing her eyes as she drinks the juice*

This'll be much better..

[ Izumo takes a seat on the small space left beside her. His eyes are locked on Tatara for the moment before he shakes his head, sighing. ]

This city, man. It must either love me or hate me.

*Selphie leans back on the couch and looks over at Tatara too, watching to see how he is, hoping he's okay*
