[Dualscar is soaking wet, his hair slicked back by water and wearing no shirt. His fins are quite comfortable, though, settled against the sides of his face in a manner that anyone who knows sea trolls would see means he's content and not agitated.]

Well it seems we are at an impasse.

Beach?

[A very loud and annoyed sigh as she cuts off the connection.]

[But that night she's out on the beach waiting, black coat and her skirts ruffling in the wind, and those usual red boots of hers. She looks like she did sweeps ago, until she shifts and light catches off her metal hand. Same annoyed look too, she jut wants her booze, an spend the minimum time around him before she can happily fuck off]

[Dualscar really didn't expect her to be there. He has a couple of bottles in his sylladex, and maybe a few other things, too.

He walks up the beach towards her, cape rippling in the sea breeze, but his armour was left at home, leaving him in a skin-tight black shirt and his striped pants, and a pair of boots that leave deep impressions in the sand]

You must really wwant this fuckin' booze.

[She turns when she hears him, crossing her arms under her bust as she studies her. He may not be her kismesis these days, but old habits die hard. Even more so with highbloods and their lack of trust in everyone.]

I wouldn't have fucking asked if I didn't. So don't waste my time.

[And here's the hand. Gimme it says. There's a pinch in her temples that's too familiar and she is not going through that again.]

[Out comes a bottle from his sylladex, and he opens the cap, then takes a swig himself. Ignoring her outstretched hand, he sits down on the sand and makes himself comfortable]

I ain't a delivvery drone. Sit dowwn.

A delivery drone would be more useful.

[Still she takes a seat, scowling as she does and kicking the sand with her feet till she settles. Then she leans over, attempting to snatch the bottle from his hands]

[He hands her the bottle, smirking, and pulls a second one out of his captchalogue]

Wwhy are you actin' like you nevver wwant to spend any time together? Wwe might a hated each other, but wwe had good times, didn't wwe?

[And she takes a long swig, holding out a metal finger as if to silence him. Though that clearly isn't done]

Why are you acting so eager to spend time together? We had good times, sure, but I seem to recall you breaking things off by way of over stepping your fucking boundaries.

[He stiffens, irritated.] You're the one wwho ovverstepped. Can't I forgivve an try to movve on, though? Wwe're here, and it's been half a swweep since then for me.

[She snorts] Did I now? Very well, if that's the lie you tell yourself to forget, I'll let you have it. Be thankful it's been a lowerblood's lifetime for me.

You wwere tryin' to put me awway! I havven't forgotten. You wwere testin' and prodding and pushing in wways you knoww wwere too much. [He purses his lips tightly, shutting himself up] Anywway, I guess it don't matter anymore. Wwe'vve both movved on.

Wait you mean I was doing what anyone does to their kismesis? Fuck, how rude of me. [Eye roll and a swig of the bottle] Yeah I guess we have.

Well I have. You're the one that was all eager to meet.

[He cuts his eyes towards her, scowling. He's said his piece, and of course she won't admit to her own part in what happened.] I'vve got another kismesis, so there's no question I'vve movved on, wwhatevver you wwant to read into wwhat I'm doin' here. It's not abnormal to wwant to havve some kind a contact wwith someone wwho I used to be romantic wwith.

[She smirks a little, kicking up a little sand as she goes to take a seat] Good for you. Nice to see you can surprise us all. [A laugh, at least she amuses herself]

Well considering kismesissitudes tend to end with one dead it is a little abnormal.

Not alwways. [He sniffs] In fact, if one ends up dead, I'd call that a failure. [He reaches out to steal the bottle]

Whatever. [eyeroll] What's the point about blathering on about it, ain't like either of us can change it. [Pulls the bottle closer to her, taking a long swallow before letting him take it] If you just want to recollect on boring things I have better things to do.

[He takes a long draught as well then hands the bottle back]

Wwell, that past can't be changed, that's somethin' wwe both agree on.

[Another swig and she passes it back, settling back a little]

Wouldn't want it changed anyway. Would you?

Yeah. [He drinks a bit more deeply, irritated and getting morose.] There's things I'd do different.

Oh? [She shifts, taking a swig before moving to pull off her boots] Like what?
