[There's not an answer from Dirk via the SFC- it seems that he's managed to get rid of that bad habit, at least. Instead, after only a minute or so there's a tap of someone's hand on the top of the fort, one careful not to knock any of the blankets loose.]

So for a while, he's torn between responding through the device and just plain showing up on Roxy's doorstep. He's just not sure how much he can get away with when it comes to her. She's probably used to Dirk showing up out of nowhere, but he's not Dirk. He's not one of her close friends. It's not really his place to be there by her side.

[General snacks aren't a problem for Bro- he cleared out his secret stash when Dave arrived and captchalogued the whole lot into his sylladex. The ice cream, however, is a little trickier. Interesting as the concept is, he isn't carrying a whole freezer around in his sylladex. Still, he's got his connections and he manages to get a small assortment of ice cream in his possession within half an hour.

Instead of knocking on the front door of the alpha house, he just ninjas his way inside and heads straight for the blanket fort.]

Of course, he's immediately reminded of the Lalonde from his universe and how she behaved herself around him. Awkward.

[ Her voice is a little flat, and she sounds mostly tired, but she manages to roll so that instead of her face basically being pressed into Dirk's stomach she can actually see what's going on. ]

[Dirk maybe goes tense when Bro makes his way into the fort, but he doesn't move either. He'd offered Roxy a hug, and therefore a hug is going to be delivered, for as long as she wants it. Probably until Eridan gets here. Besides, he kind of wants a hug himself. Jane was his friend too.

He can't roll to look at Bro properly with Roxy on top of him, so he just gives him an upside down nod instead.]

[He nods right back, then starts emptying out the snack portion of his sylladex in an available corner of the fort. A few tubs of ice cream, chocolate bars (including a stray toblerone one), a bag of beefjerky, several bags of potato chips, several bags of corn chips, a jar with dip in it, a six pack of soda cans and two bottles of apple juice. He hoards this stuff like you wouldn't believe and captchalogues it in piles, which has really come in handy ever since the bubble started flooding.

Finally, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a few spoons that he couldn't be assed to move into his sylladex. It seemed like a waste of space in there.]

If I forgot somethin' I can run back out and get it. Just say the word.
