[Today on the network was a blonde looking a little distracted away from the feed. She was holding the SFC, so it was clear either she had accidentally turned on the device, or it was on purpose. A beat before she turned her attention to look directly at it.]

I arrived here a few days ago and have already caught up with what is happening from those staying in the Laboratory up North. My name is Celes Chere. I’m a formal general of the Empire and a member of the Returners. I have combat skills and I can heal. If anyone would like for assistance, while the city is broken, please let me know.

[Pausing to place a thumb over the feed. Turning the device around before removing her thumb to show the bits of the lighthouse. She didn't want to make people sick!]

They were these little light people with wings. They used to always hover close by.

It was until I got used to them. It's kind of like the hum of an engine or the ticking of a clock. It's a little too quiet now.

It's not really magic, but my Shotstaff tricks and Artes might make some people think it is!

But really it's just Cryas manipulation. Actual magic'd be pretty neato.

Artes? Cryas manipulation? What are those?

[And she can do real magic! Not the vanishing rabbit kind, but shooting ice at people kind!]

Cryas is raw elemental energy that you can shenagle into doing all sorts-a cool stuff. Most basically, it ka-chunks into my Shotstaff, where it can WHOOSH out as raw blasts to make enemies go kersplodey!

Sounds like you can hold your own in a fight very well.

[Enemies going kersplodey was good, but that language. It took her a moment or two to puzzle out those words as onomatopoeia.]

It's like mana or chi then.
