I arrived here a few days ago and have already caught up with what is happening from those staying in the Laboratory up North. My name is Celes Chere. They tried. It was a bloody war and the humans had weapons and Magi. Magi are people who are infused with Esper magic. The Espers couldn't have won and in the end fled.

I guess I'm pretty close to what the Magi are.
