Yes. The First and Silver King. I was the original recipient of the powers bestowed on selected individuals by an item called the Dresden Slate.

There is political nature in the name, given that Kings rule clans, and the Second and Gold King is actually the proper ruler of Japan in the current era. It would have been me, but I relinquished my power to him willingly to go in to isolation.

No, not really, but I've still lived through a world war, several others, and the changing of both the Red King and the Blue King. And I'm sure I'll see many, many more changes if I ever return home.

I certainly don't look my age, though.

Where I'm from, there are plenty of people who are nearly a thousand years old.

And they don't usually look their ages either.

Just because you can live that long doesn't make you truly immortal. Though I suppose in the terms of immortality in general I am still young, yes.

I've never met any true immortals in my world, but I do know one by reputation.

He spent hundreds of years in the highest-security prison on my world because he was bored.

I'm torn between Germany and Japan. I'm from Germany, but I find Japan to be a wonderful country.

I've just always found it's people interesting. As a whole, their intelligence and ingenuity are second to none, and they're so polite it's difficult to find reasons to dislike them.
