I can't really say but I know a lot of friends were in despair because of it. The Darkness...made them feel so hopeless, they were trapped and there was nothing they could do.
[Another pause]
It also made them feel a lot of emotions that...hateful too. It's not something I want to think about. [Despite the tone in her voice, it does change into revolve afterwards] However, if we were able to beat it once before, we can do it again!
[Voice]
[All the negative emotions... it gets to people and can corrupt them if they're not careful. And even though he doesn't have a heart, while traversing through space and time in his Corridors of Darkness, Axel can feel it, the suffocating shadows closing in on him from all directions like a dense fog.
He pauses from that train of thought to grin at her last comment.]
Heh. You sound awfully confident. ... How did you defeat the Darkness?

That was a possibility the darkness went to other places too...
