She's a little shaken up after her first curse week because she's not one to open up to people too quickly, even at the best of times. Her strategic warrior mind says that is a nono. However, the tell-no-lies curse had quickly put an end to that.

And how. This last week she has given away her demigoddess heritage (another nono), her thoughts on the attractiveness of others (boyfriend equals a nono here too), her night-time activities with said boyfriend (BIG NONO) and what colour panties she is wearing (…does she even have to say it?).

As a result, this post will be short, sharp and to the point. In the name of ~~science~~ research. ]

Hey bubble. I notice that the items in Nostalgia Nook actually cost something when everything else round here is free. Even housing and such. Any idea why?

[ She won’t mention the experiments that the scientists are doing on the captives here in her initial post as they are monitoring the network, but she strongly suspects the two topics are linked. She’s keen to talk about them if she gets a more secure line of communication though. ]

[He heads into the kitchen, clipping his SFC to his tool belt as he walks. Leo heads straight for the fridge to pull out the bottle of Faygo from it.]

[ Annabeth's already in the kitchen when Leo arrives because her bedroom is closer. She turns from the cupboard holding the glasses as Leo approaches. ]

Did Gamzee say anything about how we were supposed to drink the faygo? Are we supposed to put it into glasses or...?

He said to "slam one together." I don't know if that means like a toast or chugging it. [He shrugs.] But glasses are a good idea. [He walks over to one of the kitchen stools and sits down on one, setting the bottle of soda down on the table.]

Hmm. I'm up for toasting and chugging if you are? [ It's not very ladylike but Annabeth doesn't care. Grabbing two glasses, she also walks to the table and sets them both down before sitting down herself. ] I'll let you do the honours and pour, since it's your soda.

Sounds like a plan to me. [Leo laughs as he opens the bottle of Faygo, pouring it evenly between the two glasses.]

[Once done, he picks up his glass and holds it up for a toast.] To friendship and uh... [He's not sure what else to add so he just trails off.]

[ Annabeth meets his glass with her own and laughs. ] Friendship and curses not getting in the way of it. Cheers! [ And she does her best to chug the soda back, hoping she doesn't hiccup in the process. ]

Cheers! [Leo chugs his down quickly. Burping afterward.] Excuse me. [He says quietly.]

[ Annabeth burps too. Whoops. ] No excuse me.

[ Annabeth laughs too. ] Maybe that's what Gamzee meant by slamming one.

[He continues to laugh.] Who knows. I'll have to ask him next time I talk to him.

Yes! Let me know what he says. [ Annabeth grins, feeling much more comfortable. ]

No. I'm going to ask him and keep it to myself. [He shakes his head.] Of course I'll let you know.

Keep it to yourself and I'll kick your ass. [ She's grinning and raising her eyebrow ]

Are you trying to scare me or something? [He raises his eyebrow in return.]

Did it work?

No. Not this time.

I think I'm going to need it.

Probably not. [He laughs.] I'm sure you'll find something to be scary about without even trying.

Oh you. [ She kicks him under the table, but in a sisterly way. Not a scary way. ] I figure you'd be desensitized by now!

He said it was a wicked elixir, not a miracle maker. [He sticks out his tongue.]

Augh. You'll get yours Leo Valdez. Yes. [ She reaches over to ruffle his messy hair. ]

[He reaches up to bat her hands away from his hair.] Hey, don't mess with the 'do.
