What was the premise of the game? I mean the one that was advertised.

it was advertised as the hottest new game of the year
various gaming sites covered it and you could preorder the beta version of the game
it has a computer disc so it operates like a computer game
very much like the sims in some ways since you can manipulate the world of the player youre connected with
it was also like a mmo because you needed the internet in order to connect with said player too
of course only certain people are "destined" to get into the game while the rest of the worlds living occupants die off in some sort of apocalypse
the events of the world ending are different for each world of course
