In Unova, there is a tale told of a special musically gifted Pokemon named Meloetta. Meloetta was said to dance so lightly and beautifully and sing with such a spectacular voice that it brought joy to all who saw and heard it.

But sorrow darkened the world, and no one was spared from it, not even Meloetta. With this sorrow, it's melody was lost, and so were the special red shoes it wore.

Meloetta's song became a legend in and of itself, though, and once the melody was played, Meloetta remembered who it had been and the song, and joy was returned to the musical Pokemon.


Recent talk of music and talents reminded me of this story. I, however, am not musically gifted nor do I have the ability to recall a melody just by hearing it once.

Is there anyone capable of teaching some one to play an instrument here?

I have a Legendary. The Legendary Dragon Zekrom, born of the Dark Stone in the Unova Region.

Zekrom? I have not heard of such a Pokémon before. How fascinating. You must be privileged to have such a rare Pokémon, N.

Have you ever heard of the Heroes of Unova?

I have to say that I haven't. This may be partly due to the fact that I hail from the Hoenn region. I do try to keep up with other regions events but not all.

It is said where I am from, that the land of Unova was created by uniting the warring peoples of the land by twin heroes, brothers who lived strongly by their beliefs. They had a single dragon that they both used to rule with, but eventually they started to argue over their beliefs; the elder brother sought truth and the younger brother sought ideals.

Their argument eventually caused the single dragon to split in to two - it became Reshiram, a white dragon with powers of fire who sided with the older brother, and Zekrom with it's powers of lightening, who sided with the younger brother.

But they were born from the same dragon, and neither could defeat the other and the brothers declared that there was no right side. Their peace didn't last, and their sons who had inherited Zekrom and Reshiram continued the fight. It caused both the dragons to battle again, destroying the Unova region with their fire and lightning powers before finally disappearing.

At some point they both went in to a long slumber, changing in to the Dark Stone and the Light Stone. They were hidden away deep in secret places in Unova, where they waited once more for two heroes of ideals and truth to wake them from their sleep...
