[The feed comes to life and there is nothing more then the sound of scuffling as someone tries to balance the weight of an egg and communicate with this new toy. This is confirmed as the boy comes into the view. He stands tall, looking confused and can't be more then a 11 or 12 years of age at the most.

Slowly he balances the yellow striped egg within his hand and tucked neatly under his arm. He stares at the screen, blinking once, twice, and speaks.]

This place is kind of a dump.

[He rolls his eyes and throws the pamphlet that had previously been handed to him, to the side. ]

No need for this thing, but hey can someone tell me just how I managed to end up here. I know the pamphlet speaks a lot about nothing and it's not really anything that I need to know. I'm assuming we aren't in Johto anymore or the forest for that matter.

[There was a moment of silence as he came to this knowledge.]

Wait! What about the old lady and the fight! Are they going to be ok? I guess I took this egg without their permission...then. [A beat once more.] Well that doesn't really matter now, hey how about some answers!?

No! I'm a Hylian!! I'm not even human, geeze. It's not weird where I come from! If you're dumb enough to make assumptions like there's something wrong with me just because I'm different from you, then I don't really think you're that awesome at all even if you are lucky enough to have a Pokemon egg.

[A pause.]

So you know what Pokemon are? Suddenly you got more interesting.

Because I'm really good friends with Bianca and she raises Pokemon. It's kind of common knowledge here. Her Simisage and I are friends too. We play tag and hide and seek and stuff sometimes.

[Pokemon is an awesome topic so he guesses he won't hang up just yet.]

Of course I have other pokemon! What kind of trainer would I be if I didn't!

Well kinds that are loyal and make up a good family. Good qualities, the like!

Well that's good, but I more mean what types like fire or water. It's really good they're like your family though.

[He smiles a bit wistfully.]

I think it would be really nice to have Pokemon friends.

[He pauses for a moment, moving his hand slowly over each pokeball on his belt. Thinking.]

Well a fire type, normal, water and flying, this egg, water and rock.

That's really cool. I especially like grass type and flying types, but I don't have any pokemon of my own. There aren't that many and the only one's I've met are already partners with other people.

[If he knew more about it though, he'd totally want to be a trainer.]

Hey, well there is always a chance! Who knows maybe the people here will have eggs and give you one!

Bianca has eggs but they're from her Pokemon. Wouldn't the Pokemon be upset if their eggs got taken away?

I'm not really sure? Though if you think about it, I guess they would be?

You could always wait till the pokemon is hatched?
