011 - [Video]
[It's difficult to see much of anything, because Laharl is posting this from the usually cozy interior of his coffin. The only light is coming from the SFC itself. His red eyes seem to drink it in like cats' eyes, but the rest of his face is indistinct.]
Is this w-what it feels like to be s-sick?
[Someone may have panicked a little and not checked any other posts.]

[Laharl seats himself in the other chair, looking rather small in it with his feet not quite touching the floor. He waits out of habit, expecting her to pour tea for him as well.]
no subject
Ah, [ she shakes her head, ] I'm not used to serving. [ With that, she pours Laharl a cup of tea. ] Please, sweeten it to your tastes.
no subject
Me neither.
[...and he wouldn't have in her position. Then again, he wouldn't have made tea for a guest in the first place. People could use his kitchen if they really wanted to.
He takes a sip (or maybe more of a slurp) of the tea, black.]
So how come you're so against punching anyway? I get prefering to fight with a sword, but if you're disarmed or your enemy isn't paying attention, what else are you going to do?
no subject
I cannot be disarmed, and if an enemy is silly enough to not pay attention during battle.. they'll be cut down, won't they?
no subject
Can't be disarmed, huh? So your sword's part of you?

Thank you for joining me for tea. Would you like anymore? [ She gestures towards the tray. ]
no subject
[He glances at the tray. Is she going to expect him to pour for himself?] Sure. But what'd I tell you about thanking a demon?
no subject
The knight realizes it and pours him another cup of tea and then pours herself one, putting honey in it. ]
When I worked with two others here on a team for the last attack, I was kind of underwhelmed by their ability. ..I think our standards may be a bit higher than the normal.

I know what you mean. I haven't been able to go all out since I've been here.
[And he probably shouldn't, if they want anything at all to be in tact.]
We can head up to the island. The village doesn't take up that much space.
no subject
Ah, yes, the island. We'd still need to be careful, but it is less crowded than the city.

[ The knight frowned visibly. ] I had rarely a day throughout my entire life where I wasn't involved in warfare. I have only been involved in it once here, but then I need to be worried about when I am for that reason.
[ Saber looks towards Laharl then. ] If we agree to fight on the island, we are keeping it considerably low-key, correct? Even if it is "not going all out," you will be able to release more upon me than you likely have during your entire stay in Vatheon.

I'll try not to kill you, or set too much of the island on fire, if that's the kind of assurance you're looking for.

[ The knight tilts her head, grinning slightly as she stands. Saber faces towards the chair Laharl is sitting in before speaking. ]
Would you like to shake hands once more to stave off the cold before you go? [ She's dismissing him, she realizes, but she has little else to discuss with him, and.. now she's excited about this fight. Both of them holding back or not, Saber is a fighter and is used to fighting on a regular basis. If she can even release something of a half-charged Excalibur blast onto Laharl without worry about seriously harming him..
Wouldn't that be spectacular? She has no clue as to how truly strong Laharl is, but that's something she can gauge when they're fighting. She doesn't doubt his boasts or claims about his power. Wouldn't the Overlord of the Underworld have to be ridiculously strong? ]
no subject
He stands up, setting down his now empty teacup, and offers her his hand with scarcely any hesitation this time.]
People shake to agree on things like fights, don't they?
no subject
When they're finished, Saber leads Laharl out to the front door and holds the front door open for him. ]
I'll see you on the 11th. [ A nod. Saber is unable to help but flash a grin. ]
