[Chii very shakily turned on her device as she keeps it firmly in her hands. It's obvious from the shaking that Chii is in fact shivering and just doesn't quite know how to stop. But she certainly looks confused.]

Chii doesn't understand why Chii is shivering. Is it because of the curse people speak of, or is it that Chii is broken?

[She had heard about it being a curse, but Chii still hadn't been in one before, so this was a new experience for her to say the least, even the feeling of cold was new.]

I'll come see you. I'd like to see your new place anyway.

Okay. Chii will wait here. [With that she sneezes slightly.]

[It takes Tifa a little while to actually find the place, but eventually there's a knock at the door. ...she hopes Chii understands what that means.]

[Chii knew a knock at the door usually meant someone was there and to answer. So standing up, she went to answer the door.]

Hello, Chii. Can I come in?

[She was sort of invited, but she thinks it's best to go through the motions. That way Chii has experience of how things normally work.]

[She nods slightly before stepping to the side.]

Please come in. [She has to think things over for a moment, she knew something that even at home she was told to do.] Please take your shoes off after you enter. Chii did this back home as well, Hideki did it.

Of course.

[Tifa's never done this in her own homes, but it's not unusual. She pulls off her sneakers and sets them by the door.]

Now, how are you feeling? Still cold?

[She reaches out a hand to gently touch Chii's shoulder.]

[Chii made sure to close the door behind her.]

Chii is still a bit cold. Is Tifa cold too?

[Because she can't be the only one, right.]

A little bit. Do you want to give that hug a try?

[She nods slightly with a smile as she holds up her arms before hugging. At least this time she had permission.]

[Tifa leans down a bit, folding her arms around the girl. Ah, there's the warmth from the contact. Hopefully Chii feels it, too.]

[Chii felt the warmth and she couldn't help but smile.]

Chii feels much better.

Mm. I'm glad.

[Tifa slowly draws back, resting her hands on Chii's arms so as not to end the contact completely in case she still needs warmth.]

Would you like me to visit for a little while? Why don't you show me your place?

[She nods slightly.]

Okay, though Chii doesn't know the names of the rooms very well, Chii can show Tifa around.

[The names of the rooms?]

Maybe we can figure it out together.

[Due to the fact she lived in a place with just one giant room, she doesn't know what a kitchen, living room and such is called. Never the less she starts to walk, making her way to the first room.]

This is the first room, Chii spends most of hr time sitting in this room. Chii think's it's a sitting area.

[It's just a continuous wonder what Chii doesn't know.]

That's right, you can call it a sitting room. Some people call them living rooms, too.

[She at least knows some things, that's a plus.]

Why is it called a living room? Do people live in there, like they live in houses?

Well, you live in the whole house. But like you said, you spend most of that time in here, right?

When Chii doesn't have to sleep, Chii stays here. Chii doesn't know what else to do.

That doesn't sound like much fun. You should get out more, make friends.

Chii doesn't understand what fun is. Or what making friends means.

[Oh boy. How do you even explain these things?]

Well, fun is... when you're doing things that make you smile. [Chii at least seems to understand, at least instinctively, when to smile.]

And friends are people you have fun with, people who make you smile whenever you're together. Sometimes you meet a person and you get along right away, and you become friends very quickly. But sometimes it takes a while to get to know someone.

Doing things that makes Chii smile... Does that mean Hideki is fun? [Because he makes Chii smile.] Does that mean Shiro and Tifa are fun?

[She nods, she assumes now that fun and friends are somewhat of the same thing.] Chii understands,
