[Riddles? Rescuing ~~honor students~~ princesses? No thanks. It was quests and loot all the way for her. She had been running around quite a bit for the past few days because of that. Still, after doing those quests she had at least one very important question to ask.

She looked into the camera, looking quite different than she usually did; her skin was nearly white, and her lips were tinged blue, as if she was wearing lipstick. The hooded parka and braided hair was a bit of an oddity for her as well.]

Has anyone felt weird after doing errands for the people around here lately?

[innocently:] And...what does love feel like?

[Oh dear. She was sinking into her role more than she seemed to realize.]

Go ask this red headed unicorn. That one is quite the expert of love. [Grinning. It's unclear if the Hatter means it, or is teasing.]

I haven't been bothering with the errands. Ya looking a bit cold there, lass. Might want to bundle up a bit.

I do? But I don't feel that cold... What does a unicorn have to do with love anyway?

[Jane seems to be taking it at face value, at least.]

The unicorn was that guy ya might have seen on the network trying to pick up on the...honeys and offering up some advice for that Holiday round the corner. [Pause] Look for a mirror or something there. Your lips are getting blue there.

Oh, that. [pouts.] I don't know why they're like that. I even had some hot chocolate when I noticed, but they stayed blue anyway...

Love? Why do you want to know?

[ACK. Unfortunately for her, her new role wasn't keeping her from getting flustered.]

Because I just do! Does it really matter why I'm asking?

You might have someone in mind. [A smile, before answering.] I don't know what love is quite like, but I heard it's a wonderful feeling.

... [She wasn't exactly in a hurry to confirm or deny that first part.]

"Wonderful"? But a lot of things are wonderful.

I heard that being in love is wonderful, in a way it's different from other things.

[Honestly, how would she explain it? All she have are crushes.]

You keep saying 'I heard this' or 'I heard that'... You really haven't fallen in love before? At all?

...No, not really. [If she does, she's not aware of it.] I never really have enough time for it before.

I guess stuff like that does take a lot of time, huh.

I would assume so. You'd need to know the other person and spend time with them.

What if I spend a lot of time with them and they still don't understand?

Well, it's more productive than complaining! It gives me something to do, too.

[Doing errands like this was, in a way, just like old...times? She was having a hard time remembering.]

[Oh, Rue agrees. Sometimes these things are just easier said than done, however; it's feels so very good to complain. But regardless, she wishes more people thought like her.]

If only more people realized this, things might be much quieter than they have been.

Yeah, seriously. Sometimes I just want to ask people what they really expected from a curse. Especially people who have been here long enough to know better!

It's true. Some curses are worse than others, but screaming about it has never provided any answers.

[She nods firmly.

They can Judge all of these people together. After all, what's the big deal about being in a fairytale?]

And love...can be the most complicated one of all.

Is it really that important?

[He chuckles, apparently settling into fairy tale persona. If you look closely enough, Hilbert's attention randomly strays off. Was... was that a bird? Huh, oh, yeah.]

But quite painful, actually. But we always go running back to it--Love.~

[She actually mimicked the head tilt, but she didn't look terribly amused at his subsequent lack of attention. Even in her new role there were more than a few hints of her usual attitude.]

How can it be paradise and painful at the same time? Are you saying I shouldn't try to fall in love?

I cannot say that I have felt any strange than usual, my lady.

Your second question, however, I can answer much more easily. Perhaps it would be better to explain it in person? Things can be lost over these devices.

[Normally, Darkleer wouldn't even think of answering such a question- especially not with current problems- and he certainly wouldn't propose a meeting to someone he's just spoken to. But for some reason, he feels... prompted.]
