Well, now that we all seem to have gotten over that... curse (an interesting one to say the least), I'd like to ask a small favor. Should anyone see Vanitas in the next few days, please wish him a belated happy birthday. I know you may have some differences with the boy, but I'd appreciate it; it isn't every day one turns eighteen you know!

Ah, which reminds me now that I started thinking about anniversaries and the like; for those of you who have been here for a year or longer, how have you coped? Do you still get homesick? Are you happier here with the friends you've made or would you rather be in your own world? Frankly I'm a bit torn--while I do miss Amestris from time to time, this place has actually started to grow on me. I may not be completely free here, but it's by far better than the alternatives. Though I'm not sure if I can imagine being here for another year...

Of course. I took him to the new dessert parlor next to one of the cafes, then continued to spoil him rotten the entire night. It's worth it to see him happy.

I know he'd be angry with me if I shared a few of the pictures we took during one of the curses, so I suppose you'll have to find a way to get him to smile.
