...[Yuri is not her mother. She knows what her mother would do in this situation, tell her not to cry over a boy and have faith that he'll come back. If he doesn't, well, then you move on with your life.

But pushing away others in this situation isn't viable either. Maka needs to move past that impulse. If people were bothered by things like this, they wouldn't offer. People that are important to you think you're important to them as well.]
