001 ✥ Slightly Accidental Video (or Action if you want to bump into him around town)

[ Most people upon waking up soaking wet in an entirely unfamiliar place would be a touch freaked out. Isaac was not normal people. Quite the opposite. He was absolutely THRILLED and eager to explore. He barely minded that he was soaking wet and entirely unpresentable looking. He's never seen such an amazing city before! He was fairly certain it was underwater as well. How such a fantastic city was constructed like this he hadn't a clue. But he was willing to bet it was magic. That answer rarely failed him. Okay it failed him quite a bit but he was fairly confident this time!

As he walked around he couldn't help but fiddle with the strange star shaped device he found after waking up. It had to do SOMETHING... but what he couldn't fathom. After poking at the buttons a little a panel in the center lit up! He was convinced then that this was some sort of magical device. He also didn't quit know what most of the options were intended for so he poked around until the word 'recording' flashed atop the panel. ]

Recording? So.. this is magically recording what I tell it?

[ It seemed plausible! The best way to find out would be to test it... Maybe he could do a sort of journal entry! Except speak it instead of write it. Because if his theory was correct, and he was fairly certain it was, this device would record his words for him! ]

So I should start as such... hmm... ah of course, I'll go with the classic.

Dear Journal! I've found myself once again in a mysterious land, though sadly without the accompaniment of my good friend William this time. I'm fairly certain I'm not in Hell again as the smell in the air is fairly different, though that's not to say that different parts of Hell don't smell like different things and I've only been to few places there. It certainly seems too pretty to be Hell though. I think perhaps I've stumbled into the land of Faerie, though I haven't met any locals yet to confirm. Perhaps even I've found the legendary Atlantis as the city appears to be under water...

...Hmm... So how do I check to see if it's recorded my dictation properly...?

[ Oh Isaac. If only you hadn't been too distracted to check the flyer in you pocket you wouldn't be looking so silly about now. ]

[ He nearly drops his SFC, he certainly wasn't expecting to see any faces pop up on it. ]

I didn't quite know what 'video' meant when I was examining it... so it's some sort of mystical mirror or some type of enchanted personal telegraph device... but with pictures and sound!

[ Hello yes he's still a good few decades away from the first motion picture cameras and about five away from the telephone. ]

If only William were here.. he'd love this kind of thing!

Yes, it's something like that... the world I come from doesn't have a lot of technology so I can't tell you much about it. But there are a lot of people who can, so you should ask around if you're curious.

[Honestly it's kind of nice to see someone around who isn't as familiar with technology as many in the bubble are. In an "I am not alone" kind of way.]

Well, the city is called Vatheon. You should have a welcome brochure, I think they give everyone that now. And if you ask around someone will give you a towel or new clothes.

[Klarion happened to be checking out the network today...and man is he glad he did. His cackled seemed to startle a couple people near him before he got up close to his own device.]

I can assure you, you're not in Atlantis.

[ Isaac. on his end, is more startled by another face popping up then the actual laugh. He's quite used to people laughing at him, water off a duck's back though. ]

I had a feeling I wasn't. That guess was a bit of a long shot anyways. I'd expect the buildings of Atlantis to look a bit older and more majestic.

[ It's okay! He'll figure it out... eventually. Once he steps away from pipe dreams and all. ]

Feh, it's not all that majestic. Plus you need gills or magic to even get down there.

[No he hasn't been there, but he has seen it on the screens when Black Manta had set up that attack.]

So that means it's entirely underwater? I might be be able to handle something magical...

I think the term 'accidental adventurer' would be better fitting in this situation to be perfectly honest.

No...it's the choral in the plaza...apparently it likes to cause things to happen. Such as taking peoples powers from them.

Oh... well that sounds considerably less exciting then I thought.

[ He sighs. His shoulders sagging a little. ]

And I have not yet read it. I was too caught up with the idea of exploring.

Oh I don't know, apparently there was one that had people randomly bursting out into song.

[Klarion laughed, he could only imagine people just randomly starting to sing as they walked around. Really that was something he'd love to see.]

Well then, have fun with your exploring.

It wasn't lame at all! I met sooo many awesome demons there. I even got to go on Astaroth's warship.

And none of them killed you?

Oh plenty have tried! I've had more close calls then I can count.

Any demon worth anything would have succeeded.

I think it helps that my best friend is the Elector. You see, he's the only one who is allowed to name the next Emperor of Hell... so all the really powerful parties want to keep him alive and happy in hopes to gain his favor.

This place just sounds lamer and lamer. Any self-respecting demon would just kill the guy and take the throne.

Now you see I think that would only serve start a massive civil war between the factions of the four great demon kings... which would then draw the attention of heaven. And if Micheal decided he needed to intervene... Well I imagine things would escalate into a mess not even the most bloodthirsty would want to get wrapped up in.

Sounds like fun to me.

...Perhaps to watch but I wouldn't want to be in the midst. I prefer keeping all my bits and pieces to myself.

That's just because you're fragile. I'd rather be front and center.

You've been to Hell? What's it look like?

There are a lot of large and sinister looking castles! Think something out of a fairy tale except really really morbid and even more wonderful. Of course I've only been to the part of hell reserved for demon nobility. I imagine other parts to be considerably more decrepit then the area I visited.

Is there a lot of fire and brimstone?

Actually, I didn't even see a smolder.
