[Gasp! It's a rare video appearance from the chia pet N! Unfortunately he doesn't look too happy. In fact he seems almost... sad. Cradled in one arm is an egg, and his hat is actually off for once.]

I went by Wally's place. I hadn't seen him in a while and I wanted to check on him.

[There's a pause here, and that 'almost sad' actually becomes very clearly sad. N wasn't much of a people person, but he did like Wally, and he was one of the few people N was willing to be friends with almost instantly.]

He's been sent home. His team went with him, but his Swablu egg was left behind. I'm going to care for it.

... I'm... sorry to anyone who was friends with him. ... he was a good trainer...

[ Well that ... certainly is a thing. And of course, she's not ready to deal with it. It's her first kiss ever, duh. Not to mention this was the last thing ever that she expected N to do.

So, naturally, she's frozen, wide-eyed, and not really sure what to do once she realizes what's going on. ]

[He doesn't really know what he's doing, just that he did it and now she's not reacting.

He breaks it of quickly, face even redder, eyes to the floor. There's a mutter of 'sorry...' that comes out thick and barely intelligible before he turns away, intending to go hide in his room and maybe slam his head in to the wall a few dozen times.]

[ All she can really do is watch him as he walks to his room. By the time she realized she should have said something, she also realized her voice had left her.

The moment N is in his room, she falls back against the nearby wall, completely unsure of what to make of all of that. Did he really just kiss her? Was it just a spur of the moment thing? Was she too close? Why was her heart beating so fast? What was going on?

Hope you didn't get anything refrigerated from the store, N, because Hilda's completely forgotten about those groceries. She's going to wander back into her own room and stare into space for a little bit and try to figure something out. ]
