...Evidently this was a poor time to go missing for three days. Would someone be so kind as to fill me in on what I missed? I'd have to be blind and deaf and dumb to not realize that something happened while I was away.
[It's unsettling to know that it happened to him twice now, but perhaps even more unsettling was where he reappeared. It's difficult to tell from his surroundings given that his own face is barely illuminated by the backlight to his SFC, but he ended up deep down in the caves where the old church once stood.
He's done well to avoid it in the past, so frankly he's a bit, er... lost. It's nothing like the tunnels under Amestris, that's for damn sure.]
Granted at this point I may as well be blind here... Which way is out?

That would be an understatement.
text;
You have 7 new messages!
...Huh. He should probably go through those before he responds.
Oatmeal cherry cookies, asking when he'd be home... This was all shortly after he disappeared. 'You didn't get yourself killed, did you?' That... was one way of putting it, he guesses.
You left me.]
I suppose it would be.
I didn't intend to leave like I did, Vanitas.
text;
Contact me if you actually want something.
Oh and you missed an exciting evening of cookies and being told we're to be exterminated.
text;
Don't you dare take this out on me, Vanitas. I didn't leave you on purpose, so stop acting like it. I came back, didn't I?
[Getting out of this cave was a priority. The sooner he got out, the sooner he'd be able to track Vanitas down. Ah! There's the opening, finally.]
And what the hell do you mean by that? Why would they exterminate us?
text;
[He's not telling him where here was. He'll let the other figure it out just from his first message to him]
text;
[He's bluffing, but he's frustrated with the recent turn of events. He wasn't expecting Vanitas to give him the cold shoulder like this.
It'll take him a few more minutes to get out completely, but once he does he makes a beeline for the plaza. That's where most people turned up, right? Maybe he'd be there.]
text;
Is that what you really want to do?

[Good news, he's nearly there at least? He's making a very quick stop to pick up a small box of the aforementioned oatmeal cherry cookies from the store, but he'll be there in less than five minutes.]
text;
[He actually can't remember. He's by the coral so it's not like it matters much anyways.]
text;
[Vanitassss.]
text;
One minute.

Luckily he wasn't too far off the mark and found him at the coral, so he simply strides up to him with a bag hooked over his arm. Whether it was from everything being 'dumped' onto his shoulders all at once or something else, Kimblee felt and looked exhausted. The little spelunking adventure wasn't much help to his image either.]
...How long have you been out here?
action
Standing up as soon as the other started to talk as he grabbed his pillow.]
Does it matter?
[And opening a portal before pointing to it as if to say get in.]
action
[He shoots Vanitas a look, but all he does is slide the bag off of his arm to push it into Vani's, then he steps into the portal.]

However, I would like your opinion on something, if you do not mind a brief meeting. The last time I unleashed something onto the city, it was not taken as well as I had thought it would be, so I would like an outsider's viewpoint.
voice;
[So helpful.]
It may be awhile. I need to meet up with someone before I do anything else.
voice;
[Please, don't, he wants to keep things quiet.]
I understand. Please, take your time.
voice;
Where would you like to meet up?

[Yeah she still doesn't remember his name. But she remembered that Kimblee isn't a dad at least?]
There's all sorts of fall foods now! Lotsa pumpkins!
How come it's so dark over there?
