[Zelos' face appears filling up the screen but only for a moment as he settles back into a chair soon after.]

Is this thing on? Pretty sure it is... Okay! Uhh... hi hunnies and dudes, Zelos Wilder here. I just got here a few days ago but I'm in a bit of a bind. See, my friend, she needs a companion. A dog, namely. I haven't been able to find a pet shop or anything so I was hoping someone on here could help me.

Any takers?

There be a pet shop some where off of the plaza.
[Someone was feeling rather helpful for a change. He pointed up.] Or if ya want something other than a dog, you can catch those squittens on the island. Only catch is their momma won't be pleased. Another pet choice could be a chocobo. There be a kid who is raising 'em and there is a new batch o' eggs.

She's pretty much enamored of dogs, I'll try the pet shop.

[He pauses, then...]

...just what is a squitten or a chocobo?

Chocobos are large chickens ya can ride, and a squitten is what happens when a squid is mixed with a kitten. [Faris was grinning as he gave a shrug.]
The pet shop is located close to the cafe. Jus ask some of the locals, they'll point ya in the right direction.

[Judging by his face, the idea of a kitten and a squid copulating is not something he'd ever thought of.]

It would depend on what sort of pet your friend wants ... There regular animals here too, but there are trainers who sometimes give out egg of rare creatures.

[Oh-ho~ An assist from a dark-eyed hunny? Must be his lucky day.]

I-I think they're called Pokemon? They seem pretty friendly ... But if she likes dogs, I'm sure I can look for a pet shop. I'm rather good at things like that.

Let's see *She types something on a nearby laptop and clicks here and there.* There is a pet shop, but it's a little out of the way. In the Outer district. It looks like it'll be a little tricky to find though ...

[He leans forward, resting his chin in his hand as he looks into the camera.]

*A sheepish laugh - sob, how do you deal with boys.*

Ah well ... I'm happy to help? And that would be a good idea. Where would you like to meet Zelos-san?

[Zelos-san? She sounds like Sheena when she's being super polite. Zelos can't decide if it's a turn on or incredibly off-putting. He keeps on smiling though.]

How about a cafe or something? We can get a bite before heading to the shop, how's that sound? You'll have to pick though, I'm still not totally familiar with the city~

*Well ... it shouldn't hurt to grab a lunch with him. She's a Welcoming Committee member too - what is the worse thing that can happen?*

Okay, sure. I do know few places you might like. Umm - why don't we meet in front of the large coral? Then we can head out from there.

[He winks at her, then fumbles a little with his communicator, totally ruining his suave exit. He chuckles a bit at himself, though.]

Maybe you can show me how to use this thing better then too.

*She smiles good-naturedly.*

[Well, that sure is a girl with dog ears on the camera, definitely pinged by the word "dog."]

Oh yes, there definitely is a pet store here! It's where my friend and I got our Christmas presents for each other. [She grins now.] And they have lots of cute dogs there, I am sure your friend will find one she likes.

Oh yeah, I guess she should come too. I thought I'd just go myself but if she's gonna live with it, she should probably pick. Thanks for the heads up!

Have you heard about the one in the plaza?

Otherwise...perhaps she would like one of the strays that has been living with me. They are very nice dogs!

Strays? I dunno. I made plans to go to a shop so I think I'll do that.

Good luck! You should take her with you; then you can tell if the dog will like her or not!

Thanks for the advice, but I'm pretty sure any and every dog always likes her. Kind of want it to be a surprise, anyway.

You cannot say that is for sure. Animals have their own tastes, like humans.

[ The implication that they might not seemed to offend him. ]

[He laughs]

I don't mean like that, I just mean I've never met anyone that doesn't like her!

[ His expression changes to one of sheepishness, then something more indescribable. ]

[Zelos' face makes a split-second switch from amusement to suspicion and he cuts the connection. No one gets to Colette on his watch!]

[ Gracia holds up a small, adorable light brown puppy at the SFC. It barks twice and pants, tongue out. She puts her puppy on her lap and you finally get to see its owner on the screen. Gracia smiles happily! ]

I only have him! Maybe your friend can wait until he grows old enough to have babies?

[ HER LOGIC. IT'S SO SOUND. ]

[Well, this is just so. Incredibly. Helpful.]

Sorry hunny, but I need something a little more immediately than that!

[Just keep smiling, just keep smiling...]

[ Isn't it just? Gracia pouts, deep in thought. The puppy barks again, before she replies. ]

Oh. Your friend can borrow Futon? [ She gestures to the puppy by holding it up for the SFC to see. ]

[Laughs]

Some something more permanent. Don't worry about it! I'll head to a pet shop and get her her own puppy. You just take care of yours, okay?

[ Gracia nods. ]

I will. I'm getting advice on a friend who has experience raising dogs! [ She scratches her cheek. ] I didn't know we had a pet shop here...

Oh yeah? What friend is that? In case my friend needs help too. I don't think she's ever actually owned a dog.
