[the camera clambers on as the SFC gets knocked off a shelf by a massive, candy colored bull's horn as Tavros shakes his head. He's currently dressed like Pupa Pan, complete with a pair of fake wings strapped to his back]

But, uh… Tiger Beetle, is the one that is supposed to be rescued.

[Nepeta lets out a small growl of frustration, making the feathers in her hair shake. She is quite obviously dressed as Tiger Beetle, and its just as obvious they've been having this argument for a while now, interrupting their happy fun pretend times.]

No no no, that doesn't make sense! Tiger Beetle is furocious, just like her name! When those nasty purrates tried to capture her she went grrr and bit all their heads right off!

But… Pupa Pan is the hero! He, uh… always flies in, on his great big wings and, uh… saves the day with his, strength and c-confidence!

But purrhaps this time he didn't need to! Beclaws Tiger Beetle already did it fur him! So instead of fighting the mean purrates they can fly somewhere else together and have fun and more adventures!

[Tavros had better watch out, at the word fun her hands came up in front of her with her fingers curled towards her palms and she half-crouched in her typical pouncing stance. And on adventure she does indeed tackle him, laughing.]

[Tav topples backwards off his metal legs and lands with an audible OOF off his back, flailing a moment before he starts laughing too]

That sounds... like a good idea!

Then Tiger Beetle and Pupa Pan fly off to...where are we going next??

[She's half flopped onto him as she asks, still giggling as she fixes the angle of his hat which got knocked askew during her pounce - and then notices the light on the SFC blinking and pokes at it with one of her feet until it switches off.]

I don't know that I'm a witch of anything...I'm just a witch. I went to school to learn magic and I've got a wand and I can brew potions and fly around on a broom and turn people into toads if I like.

I've only met John in person, although I've spoken with both Dave and Jade.

There is a small population of us, yes. And wizards, the boys are called wizards. But we're kept secret from those who can't do magic.

Because there are a lot more of them than there are of us. If they knew they would be asking us to fix all their problems with magic, when we have our own problems and things. if we'd always been there to fix things with magic, then the muggles never would have come up with all of the wonderful technology they use now. It just works a lot better if we're separate.

I am! I love cats the mostest! They're so cute and fluffy and clever and pawsitively adorable!! ...do you really? Oh, oh, can I come and make friends with them?!

I like cats too. I had a professor at school who could transform into a cat whenever she wanted. You'll have to ask Sirius, it's his kitten, but I don't see why not.

It's not just that. There are some wizards who believe that they are better than the muggles - that's nonmagical folk. Sort of like your blood hierarchy, they believe they should be at the top and that the muggles should serve them. I don't believe that's the way things should be, do you?

[She changes the angle of her SFC so the camera points to a toad sitting in a terrarium. Lily points her wand at it and waves it about and the toad transforms into an ornate china teacup. Then she turns it back and turns the camera back to her face.]

I could turn you into a cat, if you liked, but you wouldn't really still be yourself, you would just be a cat. My Professor studied long and hard to become an Animagus. She can transform whenever she wants and retains her human mind while transformed.

I think he's come around more since he's been here. I'm very fond of him, actually.

[Lily's pretty perceptive, but she doesn't pick up on that. No one ever tells her about what's going on in their quadrants.]

No, no, I'd rather still be myself, even if I've love to be a kitty too. I'd want to be a me-kitty, not just any kitty.
