[ Ky is settled in an armchair with his bubble in front of him. He studies it thoughtfully for a moment before he turns his attention to the SFC. ]

It seems to me that for whatever reason we're here we all are here and maybe these bubbles are here to give us a better idea of each other's motivations.

[ Because Ky has to take everything as either an opportunity or a challenge, and this seems like both. He's sure that he's not supposed to hide from his bubble, so he's trying now to do the opposite. ]

I know it's not for me to say what other people should do, but as for myself I think this is an opportunity to speak with people, and to know that I can't hide anything.

I don't...have a particular topic that I'd like to discuss, although I would request that we avoid such topics as sex or romance.

[ And here is Ky's bubble, which had been behaving itself, starts to fade to the silhouette of two people kissing, and Ky miffs at it. ]

I'm just not sure that those are things that necessarily benefit from a full and honest discussion in all circumstances.

You should look at your own bubble. [He's almost laughing, but hey, his bubble is no better.]

I'm too young to even worry about those topics anyway. [His own bubble reflects his session now. The uprooted house, pesterlogs of any kind, con air...?]

[Ky glances at his bubble, but it's still showing much the same thing. It might be a relatively chaste image for a twenty-four-year-old man, but Ky's not going to think about how it could be worse.]

Then why...

[Ky trails off, looking at John's bubble with some concern.]

It seems as though you have other things you are worrying about.

I have many things to worry about, but why over-worry? You know?

[An image of his Dad, and a couple flashes of John's childhood.] It's nothing really.

[ Ky recalls that when he was John's age he wanted nothing more than to be taken seriously. Indeed his bubble flashes an image of a thirteen year old boy holding a sword and making a face as he tries to focus. ]

Do you find it easier here, or harder?

[ Ky himself finds it harder, but he doesn't know, if he were younger, what he would have thought. ]

Easier.

[Images of moments he expirienced self doubt, his entrance into the Medium...and him laying on his death bed, blood surrounding him.]

Ah, don't mind that last thought. I'm unsure if that's what really happened. ['Death is a scary thing...']

[Ky nods sympathetically. He's trying not to take any sort of advantage of what he can see, although John gets a few flashes of Ky's own moments of self doubt -- only a fraction of what he's felt because commanding an army led to a lot of private moments -- and then him kneeling in a church to pray.]

I'd imagine that you wouldn't be here if it had.

I did die. That is for sure. [He chuckles.] I'm on a stavle Timeloop right now, or was before I came here.

[An image of Dave and his Timetables. Everything Dave has been through , 'We put him through so much...too much.' John is thinking in all directions today.]

To attain God Tier, you must die on your quest bed. Or something like that.

....So yeah, this place is a breather for me.

[ A church flashes on the bubble, then a confessional, a witch, a bolt of lightning, a rosary, a wall of flame, as Ky's bubble quickly fades to chaos. ]

God tier?

[ Death is meant to be permanent, not mutable and not something that people are somehow rewarded for. ]

[He can see where all the religious stuff could be connected to god tier status. Er, how to explain this.]

If you climb a level or so in you "echeladder", you gain a tier. The last and final tier is the God Tier. I suppose it's a god like thing. [It's so hard to explain.]

For man to attempt to achieve the level of God is one of the most arrogant things, and it tends to have the worst consequences.

[ He'd learned from the last curse. These bubbles were dangerous. Should've called sick at work. Should've called sick everywhere but welp, voice posts for everyone. ]

For those who have secrets to keep, these bubbles are a bit of an inconvenience, truth be told.

Not everyone wishes to have their every thought broadcast to the public, as I'm sure you're well aware.

[Ky nods, not switching off his own video, although his bubble is pretty neutral at the moment.]

I don't intend to be encroaching on other people's secrets. But for me, I want to be clear and open with people. I don't have many secrets that would hurt others or myself if they got out.

[ He'd rather not show his. His thoughts were dangerous things. ]

I'm afraid thanks to the bubble's newest... present... encroaching on secrets is rather unavoidable. Don't get me wrong. Your intentions are noble and I do respect them.

Better to be safe than sorry, after all.

Perhaps, although it seems to me that enforced isolation shouldn't be the only solution.

[Ky gazes at his own bubble for a moment in contemplation.]

I like to think that I'm reasonably comfortable with what passes through my head.

Admirable, despite being perhaps a little foolish. You'll have to pardon my cynicism.

[ A beat. ]

You have no enemies to guard your thoughts against...?

Not here. And even where I come from...they aren't the sort that I guard my thoughts against.

[ It's not like Ky's any good at hiding his feelings without any sort of bubble. ]

Consider yourself lucky then.

[ A pause and what seems to be the sound of a pen tapping. ]

There are others after all who prefer their privacy but you seem to be a rather outspoken young man.

[ Ky inclines his head. That much certainly is true. ]

My opinions won't do any good if I don't share them with anyone.

There are those who have died for knowing too much. But I wish you good luck with your rather... interesting outlook.

There are also those who have died for knowing too little and they will never know why they died.

Well! That's pretty brave of you.

[Hideyoshi is grinning with open curiosity. No bubble on him, no sir.]

[ Ky shrugs and his bubble radiates confused. ]

Is that truly what counts as brave here? It hasn't taken much from me.

Oh, maybe not now, but wait until the questions start coming in.

I believe that I'm doing fine with them so far.
