[There's a wet dog man on the SFC and he looks terrible, like he hasn't had a good meal in weeks and hasn't slept in that long either....which wouldn't be too far off from the truth.

Regardless, he tries for a small, strained, smile as he drys himself off with a towel.]

I should really find myself a tether, huh? Maybe then I'd stop popping in and out of here; there's only so many times a man can like getting dunked in the ocean with his clothes on.


Oy, James, you'd better've been taking care of my cat or we're going to have a problem.

[Shin was a few seconds behind, just enough that he came running up and slowed his pace at the sight of Sirius, looking thankfully similar to when they'd last seen each other. He went right up to Sirius and hugged him with a gigantic grin on his face.]

I knew you could do it again.

[He'd thought he'd say something witty and flirtatious in response but, once he saw Shin, that thought left his mind.

The older man eliminated the distance between them and pulled Shin into the tightest hug he could manage without discomfort to either of them.]

I'm sorry I left you.

[He kissed him and held fast, something that used to be the farthest thing from his mind.]

Are you... okay? You went back? ... Right?

[Shin knew that Sirius had last been in a hellhole back home, so he had every reason to believe that Sirius went right back into it.]
