[This transmission takes place shortly after <href="http://caughtinanetwork.dreamwidth.org/99654.html">the arrival of another Lombax. Ratchet is sitting on his bed, staring down at his SFC for a long moment before talking. He doesn't look good and there may have been some tears shed as his eyes are red.]

This is probably the weirdest thing I've ever had to say. I mean...just thinking about it I can't find a way to phrase it that doesn't sound utterly stupid. [He sucks in a deep breath.]

So I guess I'll just come out and say it. My killer is here. Everyone just leave him alone. He doesn't seem to remember killing me so just let him be. He's got enough to worry about. He's another Lombax like me, kind of hard to miss. Please and Thank you.

I've met a few people from Japan here. No one talks like you do back home, that I know of.

I see. Yes, ah...nobody really looks like you do back home either, so I guess that's fair.

You don't got aliens running around your planet back home?

[messianic]

Not as far as I know of. Sometimes goddesses, but no aliens.

Yep. I'm a Lombax.

Goddesses huh? That has to have an interesting story behind it. Closest thing I've met were the keepers of all time in the Great Clock.

That's one way to describe it.

But...keepers of all time...?

Yeah. The Zoni are in charge of a place called The Great Clock. It's in the exact center of the universe, give or take fifty feet. It keeps time for the entire universe. Makes sure it doesn't all unravel and explode.

[messianic]

...That sounds complicated.

[...ah--]

And you met them?

[last_lombax]

Yeah, it kind of was. I didn't really get the science behind it.

And yeah, I did. My best pals the leader of them now.

[messianic]

[...ah wow.]

It sounds like you've been through a lot.

You could say that. It's been in interesting ride, that's for sure.

[messianic]

...But you all made it through alright, then? Even if it was a little crazy.

Yeah...most of us. You know...you get a few bumps and scraps along the way but nothing too major...

Yeah, guess it is. Never really thought about it like that before.

Kind of a hard question to answer. But...

I guess I do. Never got to say goodbye to my friend before it happened.
