[When Argilla awakens, there is an incredible stiffness in her body like she's never felt before. She isn't transformed, like she had been just moments ago; she can tell. Her eyes don't even want to open at this point, but she forces them anyway as she slowly tries to glance around her room. Her very own room, at the Embryon base . . . how did she get here?

She spots her SFC on the ground. It had apparently fallen off, the collision pressing one of its new buttons; and without realizing it had been recording in the first place, she clicks it off and sighs.

What in the world . . . ?]

[Sera's never experienced snow before, so she had to have a look. But almost as soon as she left, she returned. Having the Atma that she does gives her resilience to the cold, but it's still unpleasant to be in the snow with the way the weather is right now. Her face is a deep pink from the cold, and she sniffles between lines.]

The weather's starting to get scary. The wind is cold and sharp, and it makes my face red.

[And that's just the wind.]

It's strange that something beautiful can make you feel miserable.

[Wherever here is. Sera's never been in these apartments before, and it appears there's nobody here with her. She stands in front of the mirror, trying to make sense of all these changes. Her hair is longer, her eyes are blue...it doesn't make sense.

She searches for a SFC, and once she's located it, makes a call to everyone. Her tribe may not be able to help her, but perhaps someone in town knows what's going on.]

Excuse me, this isn't who you think it is, if you know them.

[There seems to be a pink-haired woman on the screen today, publicly broadcasting for the first time. This probably would've been better as just a voice feed, but she looks calm and composed enough-- partially because maybe it hasn't really hit her yet, and partially because she knows she needs to be.

...Though this doesn't mean words won't get caught in her throat regardless.]

For...those of you familiar with him, it seems Serph is no longer in the city.

[She swallows. The harest part is out of the way-- now she just has to elaborate.]

I was unable locate him or find his name on the contact list; and I'm aware that he was once a part of the team leading the Defense Force, so-- [there's a pause for breath--] If there are any concerns regarding that, they'll have to be redirected for the time being.

[And another pause.

She doesn't know why it's taking so much effort all of a sudden to just breathe, but she also knows she doesn't have too much else to say. So she ends things here.]

[...After recovering briefly from that, Argilla manages to set a filter for only members of the Embryon. This is the first time she's done it, but she hopes she's done it successfully, because there is something else that she hasn't mentioned.]

Gale was also unresponsive this morning when I went to ask him about Serph.

It's been hours, but nothing seems to have changed-- and it isn't like him to sleep for so long into the day. Has this happened before?

[The others have been here longer than she has-- she figures there's no harm in asking before proceeding further. Maybe Gale enjoys sleeping in more than she thought.]

[Like most arrivals, there is a new one in the plaza. And while being soaked in white gothic lolita clothing isn't the best sort of beginning, Chidori's much too preoccupied by the giant coral in the plaza. It's rather large, especially out of water, and it seemed to stretch across the area. When she touches it curiously, she lets out a gasp and steps back because of the unexpected wave of energy rejuvenating her. Weird thing that heals like her (??? she thinks so anyway).

Not to mention the second thing she's found, the now-glowing mark on the inside of her left wrist. Scratching it away with her nails doesn't work, and leaves it rather sore and at the brink of bleeding instead, and so she turns her attention once again to the city. It's really pretty, like something out of a dream. Well, not that she ever remembers (or wants to remember) her dreams, but still.

... And, not wanting especially to talk to anyone in a place she's not familiar with, Chidori will just be wandering about exploring and keeping to herself. Looking for some place quiet to sit ~~and eavesdrop for information~~ and wringing out her hair/dress every now and then, totally not comfortable yup. This whole thing is pretty inconvenient for her all things considering.]

[Oh, hi there Vatheon! There is a cute little white wolf pup looking into the screen, occasionally pawing at it. She pants optimistically and wags her tail, but whimpers immediately afterwards and hangs her head. Is there anybody out there...who wants to play?]

Arf!

[Because Sera would really like to play.

See? She can make bubbles with her tail! Pretty watercolor bubbles in a pastel rainbow of colors.

For those who can see supernatural things, they'll notice that Sera's striped with mysterious blue lines. For those who can't, she looks like a normal, white wolf.]

It's not too big, barely larger than a hamburger bun, but it's fresh, given the steam coming off it. ]

Isn't it cute? I finally got the shape to work right and bake properly! I made some in French bread, sourdough, and cinnamon raisin. I also made a few smaller ones stuffed with berries!
