Day 3 - [Accidental Video]

[The face showing up on the screen has got to be familiar to a lot of people by now, what with two other versions of it running about. In fact, since Roxas is wearing a generic black shirt instead of his Organization coat, it would be easy to mistake him for Ventus. A frowning Ventus. He has a look of concentration, or possibly annoyance.

He's trying to do something with the communicator, but clearly he doesn't realize it's already recording.]

I thought she said there was a list of people... Stupid thing.

[...Looks like all of his waiting may have payed off.

Axel waits for a moment, smiling at the screen while Roxas fiddles with the device, before he turns his own feed on and laughs, probably his first genuine laugh in a long while.]

Looks like you haven't changed much, kid.

[Okay, he heard about this from Mickey, but it's really Axel.]

[And at last there's a little smile.]

H-hey. Who're you calling a kid?

Well, it's not like there's anyone else around that fits the title.

[He smirks wide now.]

Doesn't mean I have to put up with it.

Don't act like you didn't miss it, Roxas.

[Okay, you've got him there.]

Where are you anyway? [This over-the-SFC stuff doesn't cut it.]

My room, actually.

[He rooms with Demyx and Lea, which has been convenient, though awkward at times, definitely.]

Why?

Um... Can I come over?

[He needs to... pinch you or something. Is that how it works?]

[flared]

[Well, he didn't see why not. Demyx and Lea shouldn't have had any issues, right?]

Sure. D'you even know how to get here, though?

[coolerthansora]

Well, I could if you told me?

[flared]

Phanga #9. It's some house not too far from where you should be.

[But, since he doesn't exactly trust your sense of direction too much--]

--I'll go stand outside so you can see me.

[Hey. Have a brief pout frown before he nods.]

Okay. See you soon.

[And he is off to find this Phanga place. ... It's probably good that red hair stands out so much. His sense of direction isn't horrible, but he doesn't really know this world yet. When he finally does spot Axel, he smiles and picks up the pace to reach him.]

[As soon as the feed ends, Axel hops out of bed and warps down to the first level so that he can wait outside the front door, back pressed to it and arms crossed. It's been a long time since he's seen Roxas and even longer since he's seen him actually remember him, so this--This is definitely something to look forward to. But he feels anxious and unsure and there's a fluttering in his stomach that tells him to not be so excited. What if things go wrong again? What if somewhere down the road one of them leaves the other and it's right back to where they started: separated and practically nonexistent to the other?

He swallows and stares at the tips of his boots before suddenly he hears footsteps approaching and he looks over to see the blonde rushing towards him at full speed.

...All of those previous concerns suddenly dissipate into nothing.]

Roxas!

[Really the last few times he saw Axel--as himself--weren't exactly pleasant, but that's pretty far from his mind. He didn't remember everything then, so maybe he still hadn't been himself.

What is on his mind is how he'd thought Axel was gone, and he'd never see him again even as Sora.

If he were Sora there would have been hugs here. But since he's Roxas, he just comes to a stop a few steps in front of Axel, looking him up and down and smiling. He looks pretty alive.]

Axel.

[flared]

[Axel laughs and then reaches out with one arm to pull Roxas into a side hug. Giving him a shake, he confirms that, yeah, he's pretty sure the kid is alive and well.]

Hey, buddy.

[Oh, hugging. Well, it's probably just as effective as pinching. His smile widens.]

Hey.

It's- good to see you.

What? C'mon, that's all you can say?

[Last time he saw you, you were leaving. Axel chuckles lightly and shakes Roxas a bit.]

[Roxas looks a bit confused, absently moving to push Axel's arm away at the shaking. He is not a ragdoll.]

What am I supposed to say?

[And all you said was 'hey,' mister.]

I'm just kidding.

[Shhhhhhhh.

He finally lets go and goes back to leaning up against the wall.]

But, really. It's good to see you again.
