26th Combo - [Video]

[Dirt and cloth cover the SFC's view, darkening it almost to black, until whatever it is moves off the screen - a small sock-clad foot, probably the reason the SFC turned on when its owner stepped on the device.]

Daaaddy... Mommyyyy...

[A young voice, sounding lost and afraid, and a skewed view of a boy who might be three who, judging by his twig- and leaf-covered clothes and hair, looks like he just spent the night sleeping in a bush. He obviously hasn't noticed the SFC yet.]

Daddy, where are you? Mommy, come back! I p'omise I'll be good!

[She hadn't quite found him yet when she hears that, but well...Now he's gotta find her, right? She'll keep quiet and continue moving toward his voice.

If he finds her, she'll be behind a tree. There's not very many really good hiding places in a forest when you're a little girl in a dress who isn't really trying to hide very well.]

[Considering that trees and bushes are the main things there are to hide behind around here, those are the first places Lloyd starts to look. Nope, no Colette behind this bush. Nope, she isn't back here.]

Come out, come out, comever you are!

[She stifles a giggle, still slowly approaching Lloyd. This is fun!

Now she's close; those rustling bushes are the ones he's checking if she's judging everything right.]

[Even though Lloyd is searching for her, Lloyd is not the most observant. He's so intent on searching these bushes that he doesn't see Colette sneaking up.]

Coleeeeette, where aaaaare yoooouuu?

[She nearly called out that she's over here, before remembering and just giggling.

She's just a little bit behind Lloyd now!]

[Well, she's definitely not in these bushes. Lloyd pulls back and starts looking for the next likely hiding spot. He turns around a little bit and-

Ahh!

[WHERE DID SHE APPEAR FROM?!]

[From the tree over there--

She giggles, clapping her hands.]

Hi, Lloyd! Guess I found you first.

[Oh, it's just-

Hey, that's her! That's the girl he saw on the star!]

Colette! I finded you!

[Hey, it still counts as finding even if she found him first.]

[She giggles again. That makes a bit of sense, even for a little boy.]

Yeah, you did!

[Here's hoping Colette doesn't mind little boy hugs, because Lloyd's reaching out to latch onto her now.]

You really here! You really my friend! I didn' make you up!

[She reaches to hug him too; she really doesn't mind. Even if he doesn't remember, he's still her friend.]

[Little arms wrap around her and hug her as tight as they can, as though Lloyd is relishing the feeling of a hug with a brand new friend.

Abruptly, he giggles and shakes his head.]

You got tickly hair.

[She blinks, moving her head a little.]

Really?

Uh huh. See? Look!

[He reaches for a fistful of her hair to tickle Colette's nose with.]

Tickly!

[She half-sneezes when he tickles her nose.]

You're right! [She's never thought of her hair as being tickly before...]

[Heee~ Lloyd loves being told he's right. It makes something warm bloom inside him. With a happy burble, he reaches uuup on tippytoes and shakes his head right under her nose.]

Is my hair tickly too?

[She giggles, starting to nod before cutting off the action so she won't hit him.]

[That only makes Lloyd giggle again. He's really pleased with this new discovery! Who knew hair could be so much fun? Who knew it could make people laugh?]

I bet Noishe hair is tickly, too!

[He drops back down from tippytoes, then reaches out to tug on Colette.]

Come on, let's go find him!

[Action]

[The times Noishe wasn't with Lloyd that she remembers was just when he was in the village because they didn't want his dog there...So where is he? Is he with Dirk? Is Dirk even here?]

[Lloyd doesn't know, either, but he always manages to find Noishe somehow, whenever he goes looking for him. Or Noishe always manages to find him. Either way, why would that be any different now?

Oblivious to just how separated he is from everyone he knows at his new age, Lloyd eagerly heads off, hand in hand with Colette. And they're off on a grand adventure to find his missing dog!]
