Experiment 007 [Accidental Video]
[When the feed turns on, Washu can be seen adjusting the filter on a rather large, 55 gallon tank complete with stand and what looks like rocks and fake coral inside. Swimming around in the tank are several familiar fish. All of them prizes from the previous festival.
After a few moments she steps back and wipes her hands on her shorts to get a good look at the tank. A few minutes later she absently taps something at the computer keyboard that appears at her finger tips and a canister drops out of thin air into her waiting hands. On the canister is a simple image of a fish eating fish food. Washu opens the can and sprinkles some of the flake food into the tank and smiles as she watches the fish go into a mini feeding frenzy.
Once she finishes that the food canister vanishes and she turns away only to pause as she sees her communicator recording.]
It looks like this little device decided to share my new tank with the rest of the bubble. Well, what do you think~? It's not as big as I would like but considering the inhabitants, I think I can get over my disappointment.

Where did the fish food come from...? [That's far more interesting than ordinary fish!]

In this case, it was from a work station in my lab downstairs to a precise point in space a few feet from my current position where I could accurately predict when and where to catch the item as it transitioned from one point to another.

Technically I can accomplish this dimensional doorway between any two or more points withing the bubble or on the island. However, the nature of this place prevents me from lining one point withing the bubble to another point on the island.
Furthermore, I cannot extend my reach beyond the bubble or the island. As useful as it is, it is not a currently viable way of getting home if that's what you're wondering.
My apologies for the late reply!!
How long have you had the fish?
<3 That's fine!
Since the festival. I won them.

[Action]
Curly Joe. Shemp. Moe. John. Paul. George. RINGO! Donny. Marie.
And this one here is Paul Stanley and that one over there is Gene Simmons and that one is Eric Singer and that one! That's Tommy Thayer!
[The man appears to be enjoying himself at least.]
Re: [Action]
....Is there any particular reason you're naming them Little Denzel?
[Action]
Re: [Action]
That's because I was the one that spoke.
Re: [Action]
Oh, well anything is possible here. Just like at home. [Starting to sound in hysterics] That fish that could had been talking!
Re: [Action]
Hopefully that will knock some semblance of common sense into your head.
[Action]
What no - OW! [Rubbing his head] NEVERMIND! [Crocker wonders on why he stays with her] WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR?!
You know it's times like this I wonder why I stay here.
Re: [Action]
[She smiles pleasantly and offers him an icepack.]
Besides, it's the easiest way to snap you back to normal short of dunking you into a body of water.
[Action]
BAH! 'Reality'. Where I'm from reality is... This can of place. Where - CURSES! [slight body twitch] can have you swap bodies or something of that nature!
[Expect of course it's because of Fairy Godparents, which may just explain a few things...]
[Then there's a dot dot dot look about dunking him into a body of water followed by a why me look.]
Re: [Action]
Then you must live in a strange world.
[Action]
I'm going to back to naming our new fish, yes.
Re: [Action]
You go do that. I'm going to adjust a few things on the tank and then go mess around with a game console or two.
[Action]
Game console? You mean the game console that have turned my class into mindless zombies because of the lost brain cells and gain short attention spans? [Crocker of course, referring to the 5th graders he taught back home]
[Denzel doesn't think highly of them but they where after his childhood. ]
Though do I give the credit for all the - CODING! [Slight body jerk] That goes into those hours of mindless dribble.
Re: [Action]
[Adults, sure. But children? Somehow, she just couldn't see it.]
Besides, as interesting as the coding might be, I'm more interested in the internal workings of the devices and what new resources they might provide me with.
[Action]
[Crocker blinks for a moment] Well, you put it that way but can't you just POOF whatever you like?
Re: [Action]
I could, but that's not as fun as physically doing it. Besides, even I have limitations as to what I can create and materialize in a place like this.
[Action]
Before appearing rather shocked] You have limitations here?!
[Quite honestly interested Crocker]
Re: [Action]
[She just smiles at that and doesn't elaborate. Besides, the 'limits' didn't upset her in the slightest and even a few of them were self imposed.]
[Action]
Re: [Action]
[That might be one possibility. Though, it's never a guarantee with her whether that will get the petite red-head talking.]
[Action]
[Really, Washu don't. He knows all too well but it would be a nice switch up if life was.]
Re: [Action]
Keep it up and I will drop another flower pot on your head. You might also want to learn that somethings aren't easy for a reason. Most of the time it's for a very, very good reason.
[Action]
Good reason? What are you? Out of your mind?
Re: [Action]
I am perfectly sane. It's simple really. There are more things between heaven and Earth than you can comprehend. Sometimes, it's best not to pry.
[Action]
[Why yes, Washu he taught everything back in Dimmsdale]

Re: [VIDEO]
[He's actually fairly fond of his chocobo, even if he's not the kind of owner to babytalk (wigglertalk?) and coddle an animal.]
It's the fish part--there's tons of them around already, crowbarred and crammed into every conceivable place they can be and more than a few they probably shouldn't, even beyond the literal variety swimming above our collective skulls every single day of the year. I will hazard a guess that by winning the fish you mean from that carnival or whatever last week - I didn't go - but why would you want to win one?
Re: [VIDEO]
Think of them as trophies for winning a game of considerable skill.
Remind me to never get on your bad side, and on top of that, give me a warning if I ever step so far into asshole territory that I start risking it.
Dare I even ask what the game was?
Re: [VIDEO]
I'll keep that in mind if you ever annoy me that much. But you shouldn't worry too much, I'm hard to annoy to that point.
A game of simple game that tested the ability to properly measure distance and the force needed to land a ball into a little bowl of water. It takes considerable hand eye coordination.
And it's fun to clean them out of prizes.
