caughtinanetwork | Experiment 007 [Accidental Video]

[When the feed turns on, Washu can be seen adjusting the filter on a rather large, 55 gallon tank complete with stand and what looks like rocks and fake coral inside. Swimming around in the tank are several familiar fish. All of them prizes from the previous festival.

After a few moments she steps back and wipes her hands on her shorts to get a good look at the tank. A few minutes later she absently taps something at the computer keyboard that appears at her finger tips and a canister drops out of thin air into her waiting hands. On the canister is a simple image of a fish eating fish food. Washu opens the can and sprinkles some of the flake food into the tank and smiles as she watches the fish go into a mini feeding frenzy.

Once she finishes that the food canister vanishes and she turns away only to pause as she sees her communicator recording.]

It looks like this little device decided to share my new tank with the rest of the bubble. Well, what do you think~? It's not as big as I would like but considering the inhabitants, I think I can get over my disappointment.

Because you're incapable of taking care of yourself and somehow I've taken on a mother role for you. Not that I'm complaining, but there are times where you need a jolt back to reality.

[She smiles pleasantly and offers him an icepack.]

[Denzel looks as if he's about to say something, however stops himself.] She has a point. Yes, she does. [Which was a comment to her first two sentences at least. Denzel snatches the ice pack.]

BAH! 'Reality'. Where I'm from reality is... This can of place. Where - CURSES! [slight body twitch] can have you swap bodies or something of that nature!

[Expect of course it's because of Fairy Godparents, which may just explain a few things...]

[Then there's a dot dot dot look about dunking him into a body of water followed by a why me look.]

[Washu just smiles at that look. It's one she's used to seeing on her victims. OR children. Sometimes they can be the same thing.]

Yes, I do. [Then mumbles] And one of the few that even seems to notice that.[Which seems to bother Crocker as you can see veins popping in his neck before-] FAIRY GODPARENTS! [There's that random spazz of three. A pause.]

I'm going to back to naming our new fish, yes.

[SIGH. The boy really was hopeless.]

You go do that. I'm going to adjust a few things on the tank and then go mess around with a game console or two.

I WILL! [Mumbling to himself] Let's see where was I? That was the Stooges, Beatles, Donnie and Marie -

Game console? You mean the game console that have turned my class into mindless zombies because of the lost brain cells and gain short attention spans? [Crocker of course, referring to the 5th graders he taught back home]

[Denzel doesn't think highly of them but they where after his childhood. ]

Though do I give the credit for all the - CODING! [Slight body jerk] That goes into those hours of mindless dribble.

Besides, as interesting as the coding might be, I'm more interested in the internal workings of the devices and what new resources they might provide me with.

My ex - girl - BOSS! [Crocker tries to make smooth reocvery and fails horribly. Crocker wanted to teach children back home even if that was below his ability to teach standards and doesn't like children. However, the kids in his world have the Fairy Godparents, so what better job to keep an eye out of anything strange happening? The man groans for a moment as Denzel thinks about her. Not that Geraldine appears to return those feelings but that's besides the point]

[Crocker blinks for a moment] Well, you put it that way but can't you just POOF whatever you like?

I could, but that's not as fun as physically doing it. Besides, even I have limitations as to what I can create and materialize in a place like this.

[Denzel doesn't confirm or deny Washu's statement with her raise brow. Verbally, anyways because quite frankly he doesn't want to open that can of worms if possible. However, the extra dismay in his face should be a tip off.

Before appearing rather shocked] You have limitations here?!

...Yes. Everyone does. Of course, mine are probably for the good of everyone here.

[She just smiles at that and doesn't elaborate. Besides, the 'limits' didn't upset her in the slightest and even a few of them were self imposed.]

I'm just going to have to find out for myself, aren't I? [Between why Washu can't and what those blocked limits are.] Yes, I suppose I am. [His eyes narrow on Washu, Crocker wonders if the only way to get more information is for him to talk more about certain things.]

I can't make everything easy for you.

[That might be one possibility. Though, it's never a guarantee with her whether that will get the petite red-head talking.]

Thought so. [Denzel mumbles to himself before going into over dramatics with a finger point.] OH NO! DON'T YOU GET ME STARTED ON LIFE ISN'T EASY!

[Really, Washu don't. He knows all too well but it would be a nice switch up if life was.]

Keep it up and I will drop another flower pot on your head. You might also want to learn that somethings aren't easy for a reason. Most of the time it's for a very, very good reason.

[Oh noes! Not the look. The one major weakness of all men! Seeing that coming Crocker looks away. The remark about the flower pot, causes Crocker to fold his arms over his head and duck... Sort of. However, the remark, Crocker braves ever so slightly at, the look.]

[Admittedly, seeing his reaction was hilarious~. She just smiles again and folds her arms.]
