second equation : text
In Unova, there is a tale told of a special musically gifted Pokemon named Meloetta. Meloetta was said to dance so lightly and beautifully and sing with such a spectacular voice that it brought joy to all who saw and heard it.
But sorrow darkened the world, and no one was spared from it, not even Meloetta. With this sorrow, it's melody was lost, and so were the special red shoes it wore.
Meloetta's song became a legend in and of itself, though, and once the melody was played, Meloetta remembered who it had been and the song, and joy was returned to the musical Pokemon.
Recent talk of music and talents reminded me of this story. I, however, am not musically gifted nor do I have the ability to recall a melody just by hearing it once.
Is there anyone capable of teaching some one to play an instrument here?

You know, that thing where you tell a story to lead into a point that doesn't necessarily relate entirely directly!

Is it bad that I did that?

I don't think so?

action;
I've never heard that story before.
action;
Really? I'm surprised, I thought it was a commons story.
action;
Maybe, but I've never heard it.
... I'm glad I heard it from you.
[ She smiles at him. ]
So, you're going to try and learn how to be a Meloetta in a way?
[ It was supposed to be an attempt at teasing and asking if he was going to try and go through with learning how to play an instrument, but Hilda forgot that N might not pick up on the joke. ]
action;
[The question makes N blink a few times, but when he finally answers... it's surprisingly a joke back at her.]
I don't think I'm pretty enough to be Meloetta.
action;
[ She makes her way into the room and moves behind him, taking his hair into her hands and brushing her fingers through it a little.
... his hair is really soft. ]
You definitely have the hair for it ~
action;
And he kind of likes it.
He pulls his legs up under himself and closes his eyes, obviously not putting up any complaint.]
I doubt I have the voice for it, though.
action;
Have you ever tried to sing? I'll bet you have a nice singing voice.
action;
Father discouraged me from doing such things...

It isn't an ocarina at all is it?

I haven't decided what I would like to learn, either.
