[Whoever is in the center of town at the moment might experience a blue speedbump on the ground. The little starfish communicator pops open next to him and the feed opens to the side of Jade's head as he grumbles and lets out an irritated groan. Staring up at the.... sky(?) Jade sat up and gave a look around to his surroundings, then to the little item on the ground next to him.

Frowning, he shook out his soaked hands, understandably confused as to why he was soaked from head to toe. Tataroo was entirely dry save for the river and he hadn't fallen into that. However, the bigger concern was where he was. This didn't look remotely close to anything he knew, which was saying a lot for a man who'd traveled the world. He certainly didn't like the looks of that sky or that... coral in the center of town. After a minute, he stood, ignoring the little device that had been next to him and tried patting himself a bit dryer as he examined his immediate surroundings for foes.]

How peculiar. Is it possible I was brought here, or am I dreaming...?

"The" location "is" known as Vatheon, and as far as "I'm" aware, "it's" not of any lands known to any who find themselves here.

Verbs, pronouns and articles. [ He knows what he's dropping out. ]

However not completely necessary, a point can be made without extra sounds added among the important words.

They aren't just 'sounds', they are specifications. Used to tell me what you're talking about without vaguely being lazy about how to speak.

If you wish to help, do be a dear and do so in a way the entire class can understand; don't just mumble.

. . . . . Mumbling sounds different. [ He's speaking at a very clear, carrying conversational voice. No stumbling over letters or slurring sounds. And it's not laziness, he's getting his sentences out faster if he drops things out.

Not clear upon what "what kind of place is here". It is a place, with many of multiple worlds more or less caused to coexist. Touching the coral heals, every so often is something called a 'curse'.

Unknown. Free food, shelter, objects. But things, specific to ones own world cost... [ He doesn't know. He hasn't looked into things specifically from his world. ]

[He frowns at that, a pensive expression mixing in a moment later.]

For a week, one could not control what they said. Secrets, falsehoods, no difference, it was said. Another week, I interacted with a dragon, a siren, and held the form of a sphinx, complete with urge to riddle and or devour people. Not so long ago there were bubbles that displayed ones' thoughts. [ A short shrug. ]

Seems to be so. Both in those influenced by the curse, and when spells take place.

... Locals - those not also pulled from other locations - tend to run friendly. The coral heals upon contact. You missed the faeries.
