[Whoever is in the center of town at the moment might experience a blue speedbump on the ground. The little starfish communicator pops open next to him and the feed opens to the side of Jade's head as he grumbles and lets out an irritated groan. Staring up at the.... sky(?) Jade sat up and gave a look around to his surroundings, then to the little item on the ground next to him.

Frowning, he shook out his soaked hands, understandably confused as to why he was soaked from head to toe. Tataroo was entirely dry save for the river and he hadn't fallen into that. However, the bigger concern was where he was. This didn't look remotely close to anything he knew, which was saying a lot for a man who'd traveled the world. He certainly didn't like the looks of that sky or that... coral in the center of town. After a minute, he stood, ignoring the little device that had been next to him and tried patting himself a bit dryer as he examined his immediate surroundings for foes.]

How peculiar. Is it possible I was brought here, or am I dreaming...?

[Jade looks around for the voice, then spots the little item and picks it up.]

Well, it's safe to rule that one out, I suppose.

.... Towels [ And a slight head tilt for the vendor of those. ]

[Jade turns to look at the man with a raised brow and a suspicious expression. He looked to the vendor, but he was aware that his bag had no accompanied him, thus he had no gald on him. Wonderful.]

I don't recall falling. It's entirely possible I still am dreaming.

[Link's arrival hasn't put a damper on Zelda's need to greet the newcomers - if anything, she's looking for things to do now to distract from it. Newcomers are easy to spot since they're soaking wet, so she doesn't hesitate to walk up to Jade with a towel It won't do much good for his uniform, but he can dry his hair and face a bit least.]

[Jade looked to her quickly at her words, then took the offered towel graciously and pressed it to his face after removing his glasses. After he was better with that, he hung the spectacle on his uniform front and worked at some of his hair.]

Where have I arrived?

Why, you where brought here. I'm terribly sorry that you had to go through such a rude arrival.

[Here, have a talking mouse in a dress with a crown.... holding out a towel.]

[What. Jade gives her a... Oh-so-confused look. He takes the towel tentatively from her and looks around. Any other talking animals? Is he some sort of princess in this dream?

Yes, it has to be a dream.]

That's quite a familiar face.

Not that Guy had any horrible memories of the Colonel from their short time together, but still... seeing Jade puts an uncomfortable pit in his stomach - that wonderfully familiar sense of a person who knew more than they let on. He swallows that discomfort for the moment, though, flipping on the video feed with a wry smirk.]

Heh. I'm afraid it isn't a dream.

You doing alright, Colonel? Nothing injured, I hope?

He picks it up and looks into it, and Guy gets a good shot of Jade's very red eyeball.]

[It's away from his eyeball now and has a clear view of his face.]

Not injured, just confused. This is an inconvenience, after all. Do be a good boy and explain.

I suppose it's possible, but I've never seen this place before.. How did I get here?

[Jade looked at the man cautiously, but he took the towel and removed his glasses to dry his face. After it was a bit better, he nodded to the man.]

Thank you. I assume Vatheon is the city. Does the sky always look like that? [He looked up, seeming somewhat concerned by it.]

[Somehow, Zelos always managed to find himself in the plaza during the time when all the new arrivals showed up. Partially it's due to to a curiosity of what weird alien will show up next and partially it's to see if anyone else he knows gets trapped here...And partially it's to flirt with the cute towel vendors, though this one always gives him one every time he visits. It's not odd, ladies are always handing him things, but he has plenty of towels to his name and doesn't need another.

Oh look, that guy seems to be soaking wet. Perfect.

Zelos saunters over to Jade, towel outstretched carelessly as the man speaks.]

Welcome to Vatheon. You'll be staying awhile, just like the rest of us.

[Jade pulled some of the hair from his face and hooked his glasses on the front of his uniform. At the offered towel, Jade took it and pressed it to his face in an effort to dry it. Pulling it from his face, he gave the pink-clad man an odd expression before he glanced around the area.]

Vatheon? I've never heard of such a place.

[Yep. Dreaming.]

Lovely. Though it would explain quite a bit if it is. [He looks up at the sky again. The color and look of it is disconcerting, but if it is a dream, then it's not so odd.]

[He works at a building right at the edge of the plaza--and so when he spies a wet newcomer, he hops out of his chair, grabs a welcoming basket and a towel, and heads on out.

And then he offers the towel.]

I haven't been able to figure that one out yet, but I think we're probably not dreaming. Otherwise, it'd be a really, really long dream.

[Jade's wondering how he'll get dry when the towel is offered to him. He looks at the owner of the hand and takes the towel. Removing his glasses, he presses the towel to his face and dries it a bit before he looks to the man again.]

Dreams can be of any length. It's only when you wake up that you think they're short.

Thank you for the towel, however.

Jade? So almost all of us are here now.. [ He was somewhat surprised to see him. It seemed like everyone was turning up here, for some reason. Not that he was complaining. He was happy to see them all, after all. ]

Ah--Sorry, but this isn't a dream. It's actually another world, if you can believe that.

[He hadn't heard the voice in a while but he still remembered it. He located the small communicator on the ground and looked at it. It'd sounded like Luke's voice had come from that.]

Another world? I can hardly believe it, however I'm inclined to ask how or why.

[ Not too far off from the center of time, a familiar Fon Master Guardian was making her usual round through the town. She had a couple of small things in her arms seeing that she was currently living by herself and she also had to keep an eye on the Fon Master as well.

When she spotted a familiar uniform, she stopped in her tracks. Was that who she thought it was? The girl tilted her head before walking forward and closer to the uniform to make out the person. When she was within hearing distance, she called out. ]

Colonel?!

[Jade is trying to somehow dry himself off from his sudden and curious drenched nap when he hears the exclamation. For Luke and Ion are alive and apparently Anise is trotting about here, too. He turned to face her, wet and a tad surprised-looking.]

Ah, Anise. Good to see you're well.
