[Whoever is in the center of town at the moment might experience a blue speedbump on the ground. The little starfish communicator pops open next to him and the feed opens to the side of Jade's head as he grumbles and lets out an irritated groan. Staring up at the.... sky(?) Jade sat up and gave a look around to his surroundings, then to the little item on the ground next to him.

Frowning, he shook out his soaked hands, understandably confused as to why he was soaked from head to toe. Tataroo was entirely dry save for the river and he hadn't fallen into that. However, the bigger concern was where he was. This didn't look remotely close to anything he knew, which was saying a lot for a man who'd traveled the world. He certainly didn't like the looks of that sky or that... coral in the center of town. After a minute, he stood, ignoring the little device that had been next to him and tried patting himself a bit dryer as he examined his immediate surroundings for foes.]

How peculiar. Is it possible I was brought here, or am I dreaming...?

[She smiles and waves a hand at him.]

[Jade offers her a light bow in thanks.]

Jade. A pleasure to meet you.

[He straightens with his unkempt hair and soaked uniform, dripping all over the place like a boss.]

[Oh, Jade. You look...

...ridiculous. Zelda has gotten over her need to conceal any sort of power that she holds, so she extends a glowing hand and draws the water from his clothing, sending it to the coral.]

Likewise. I wish you luck in finding your friends soon.

[Jade blinked as the water was suddenly gone and he looked himself over. He looked back to her, seeming to be a bit more presentable even if his hair was still a tad messy.]

[A nod of his head and a smile.]

[He flicks his glasses open and now cleans them on his uniform.]

[Judging by the suddenly childish smile on her face in place of her reserved expressions before, it is a favorite topic of Zelda's.]

[It's difficult for her to not barrage the new man with questions about his sort of magic, but she manages.]

[Old? He doesn't really appear to be, but the princess doesn't comment. She just inclines her head.]

[Not wanting to delay him from finding the people from his homeworld further (she, after all, would be itching for this conversation to be over were she in his shoes so that she could question people she actually knew), she waves once more and heads back to the Welcoming Center.]
