[From what looks like a tree... The feed clicks on and it looks to be Summoner's usual back drop of sky and some branches. The troll finally woke up and immediately got out to spread his wings, though... all the kittens in his hive sure was nice to wake up to.]

[Also, one MIGHT notice a rather distraught looking squirrel on his right horn. Well, if you might by chance know what a squirrel looks like when it's distraught.]

And how is everyo-! [He starts, the squirrel soon kicking the side of his head. Summoner glares to the side and sighs, looking back at the screen.]

Right, since my company is off his nut about this issue. [Smirks.] I'll get to the point.

My esteemed company and I were having a discussion about the proper percentages of types of food best to be stored by furbeasts of his nature. This discussion works under the uh, the assumption, that, this situation is ideal. As in there is no limit on what can be collected in the right environment. So for example, all the acorns, all of them, all the bark, the weather is always fair, and uh, and so on.

It ended up becoming a discussion about how I do not know anything because I am not a nut gathering furbeast, but I think that since I have spoken to a lot of them that forms some basis, for um, my, opinions, on this matter. He disagreed, so I'm here to ask. Do you think I have enough evidence to properly discuss this with my rather befuddled nut gathering acquaintance? [A flinch, feeling the squirrel tug on his hair.]

UGH, and, he opens himself up for questions too, I'll translate, no worries. He seems to be concerned with this being one sided, so uh, feel free to ask either of us questions, unless you think I'm right.

Because, well, heh, I am. [Hair tug, twitch, scoff.]

He said that a few games- [Hair tugging. Summoner winces, lifting his hands to make quotes.]

"A lot of uh, yeah, games, games are pretty fun even though, they, um, they they don't really-" Do I have to fucking repeat it word for word?! [Said outloud and trickles through his commune, that of which makes the squirrel angrily climb on his head and tug his hair again.]

UGH. FINE. OKAY. Fucking.

"Games like 'which place' which is a basic game of um, taking things, and finding them, and and and, we play a lot of games that are like racing and hopping! We like to hop and run around a lot, and beat eachother to different trees and places! It's pretty fun! Lots of moving and hiding and jumping and and and fun! And then there's the games of finding other squirrels during that certain time of year so we can do the thing that makes young ones and that is pretty fun too but I am not sure if it is always meant to be like, um, fun nice? I have fallen out of trees. Taht is not fun, no, falling out of trees is not fun." [Summoner looks pretty fucking angry the whole time he rattles off that, letting out a long, obvious sigh when he's done.]

Ohhh, I like racing around too! And hopping sounds like fun! Heehee, that all sounds pawesome, Mister furbeast! Except fur the part about falling out of trees, but I'm sure you're a furry clever furbeast who knows how to fall on his feet, right right? Can I play with you sometime purrhaps? I'd really really like that!

[Lysunder, you offered to translate, be nice now!]

"Oh yes I can , of course of courseofcourseofcourse! I am very good at landing right, it still is scary though when a large squirrel shoves you! But if you fall right sometimes the girl squirrels like it, and uh, that is actually pretty nice, that they acknowledge that! And yes, of course, even though you won't really be any good at squirrel games, not being a squirrel, but that, that is okay, we can find other games!"

[GROAN.]

Yes yes I'm sure that it can be pretty scary but it's good that you know how to land right, landing right is furry impurrtant! Heehee and yes, I'm sure that they do notice it! [No, Nepeta, you do not need to start adding squirrels to your shipping wall...]

And I know I wouldn't be the bestest at squirrel games but that's okay beclaws like you said there's lots of other games we can find to play that are good fur both of us, or else we can even make some up maybe!

[Also Summoner's tone of voice sounds so very annoyed considering what he is quoting from this squirrel.]

"I think making games with another, um, weird, grey skin troll thing would be fun. Fun! Funfun!"

She does sound nice!! Blai's a pretty name fur her! Maybe she will be if you ask her, yes yes, and you could try taking her a nice present purrhaps? What kinds of presents do squirrels like?

"Blai is a pretty name and she is pretty, so I think they match! She has this, really shiny coat, and it is nice, and I like her tail, it twitches in a cute way! But I might not mate with her again, we will lsee how things go! Um, well, uh, the present that we give is the bounty of food we have stored, and um, I am always working on that, so, that is something I have already done, for, her and uh, for all the girl squirrels, which ever chooses me."

"Oh oh, well, Lysunder and... I guess he can, we have already played before, he is good at games but dumb at squirrel thins, but that is okay, not squirrels are dumb at squirrel things, that is a normal thing, yes. Uh, matesprit? I am not sure if Lysunder said that, is that what you said? What does that mean? But i am sure he would be fun to play with, yes, that could be fun I think, he must be someone fun since you said he should play too!"

Oh, I know, he's the bestest at games, isn't he? What squirrel things is he dumb at? I suppaws squirrels wouldn't be too good at troll things either... Uh huh, that is what I said! "He is dumb about most squirrels things, but mostly because he thinks he is not dumb, but he is," and then he talked about me being dumb for a while I'm not repeating it because I do not really want to? "Oh! Okay, I understand what a matesprit is then, even if it seems silly to me to be staying with one mate for so long? But that is okay, you are not a squirrel so maybe that is just how things are for you, I am not judging your troll things, I do not really care! But he seems nice!"

Fiff! Oh, Fiff is the cutest name, I really like it! It's a purreasure to meet you, Fiff, and yes Lysunder is really nice although I don't think he's dumb at all, but I suppaws it seems diffurent to you as a squirrel, since squirrel things and troll things aren't the same! But since Lysunder can talk to all squirrels he purrobably knows more about it than I do!

Now, now, what were you two arguing about?? Beclaws I think if we don't fix that soon then he might maybe purrhaps explode from the look of it.

I do not think just talking will work to have him leanr, no, I think teaching maybe, rigorous and intense teching that that he can and anyone can, understand all there is to know about squirrels! And there is a lot, we are complicated!!"

And we were arguing about, um, me not having a say at all really... because I am not a squirrel. Which is pretty absurd.

[Squirrel chittering.]

Even if I think you purrobably understand more than he thinks, he is an actual squirrel himself so I'm sure he could show you lots more! And Fiff, I know us not-squirrels can't efur understand squirrels purroperly but you are being a little bit rude about it and Lysunder does spend a lot of his time talking to all of you, yes yes.

I don't need to... ugh. [He's knows a lot about squirrels, he can literally be inside of their head, know their inner squirrel thoughts. But fine. He frowns, leaning back, another sigh and he's got a small smile back.]

[And he translates for Fiff who pauses and then replies.]

"Maybe. Maybe!! We will see. I will try. Yes."

[Nepeta grins at Lysunder - yes, she knows, but this is about him coming to an agreement with the small furbeast rather than any real question of his knowledge.]
