Wakey, Wakey, Selphie!~

*So Selphie might look a little sleepy, and her hair's a little more tousled than usual. But at least she's sitting up in bed, even if she is still in her pyjamas. Yes, she's been dead asleep for over a week now, but she always still finds herself exhausted at the end of it. It's happened a couple of times now, and she's not really surprised*

 

Whoa... A new year and I've slept for most of it already! Boo!

Anything exciting happen while I was out?

*And suddenly Selphie is just thinking about what it would be like to spar with someone that maybe she might want to just kiss the whole time... Ah! But she is blushing so she just nods in agreement*

Especially with potential invasions, it would be very wise to be prepared and protect the ones you love.

It's been quiet lately... and nice. I mean, there's this curse but - well, it hasn't been bad.. for me.

*And she'll just take a look at Kenshin's face to see if there's any trace of annoyance or hate towards what the curse has made him do*

But - something could happen. Any time. And if it's like that last one -

Indeed it has. While the peace is quite enjoyable, it worries me. For this land, with extended periods of peace comes a large invasion. I know not what I would do if something happened to you. [ well that wasn't part of his strategic analysis, but it is true... ]

*Selphie looped one of her arms into his and squeezed his wrist lightly*

*She sits up suddenly, inspired!*

Protect and defend one another, be partners on the battlefield.

Then I gotta do this sparring seriously.

Each morning we should train. It will discipline the mind and body and strengthen our bonds with one another.

*She'd probably gotten kinda lazy without military discipline anyway*

So when do we start?

*Selphie blinks at him, just as Moses comes padding into the room*

*Selphie smiles at him before reaching forward to scoop up Moses*

*And she'll just sit and smother the cat with kisses for a moment or three*

*She put the cat down, and he walked over Selphie's lap to sit with Kenshin*

*She looks at them both and gives a little sigh before standing to her feet*

Well... if we're gonna start the hard work tomorrow, I should maybe get some more rest...

..and I'm glad I woke up..so I could hear the curse...
